Story Note(s):
There are two songs in this chapter, I have them posted right when you should play them.

Because of it being two songs I couldn't put them both at the top of the chapter. If you are reading this on the computer, it shouldn't be a problem to play as it goes. But on some phones, it won't let you exit the video without pausing it. So, if that's the case, you can either look up the song and play it from somewhere else, or just watch the video without reading the lyrics on the screen, or just read the lyrics. I put the more important one at the top, along with in the story. It is the second song that gets played, so you could just do that one if you want. Whatever works for you!

The rights to these songs do not belong to me! I do not own them, I did not write them! And I am not trying to take credit for it!

Finally, there is going to be smut in this chapter at one point, so once again I will put (***SMUT START***) at the beginning of that part, and (***SMUT END***) at the end of that part. So if you want to skip reading that part, just look for those messages!

Melissa's POV

As Sev carried me through the halls, I cuddled into his chest. Despite my arguing to stop doing this, I couldn't deny that it was a relief to not have to carry mine and my daughter's weight for a bit. Suddenly, my stomach grumbled quite audibly, making my face blush a bright red.

Sev chuckled and said, "It's alright, Isa. You're just hungry. We'll be there soon."

I nodded and leaned my head into his chest, wrapping my hands around my bump. A few minutes later, I heard the chatter of voices happily eating in the Great Hall, and lifted my head up again.

I tried to get him to put me down because I didn't want people to start thinking I needed to be carried everywhere. However, he ignored me and pushed the door open with his back, before strutting in, his heeled boots clicking on the floor.

I expected him to put me down with my friends at the Slytherin table, but he instead carried me up to the professors' table. He sat down in his seat and placed me on his lap, causing me to glare at him.

"Why didn't you sit me down with my friends?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Because I want to sit with you," he answered simply, before picking up his fork.

However, I continued to glare at him until he finally looked back at me.

"What?" he asked, a smirk forming on his face.

"I am not sitting on your lap like a baby, Severus! You either get me a chair or let me sit with my friends!" I ordered, my eyes narrowed.

He sighed and waved his wand, an identical chair appearing beside him. I immediately climbed into it and he asked, "Happy?"

I nodded, but couldn't answer with my mouth already full of food. He just shook his head at me and we ate our dinner without too much more conversation.

Once we had finished, Dumbledore stood up and walked to the podium, immediately sending the Great Hall into silence.

"I will keep this short, so you don't have to wait too long for dessert. This Sunday, June 1st, we will be hosting a ball to celebrate the last month of school approaching, and everyone can attend," Dumbledore announced, and the students erupted into cheers.

Dumbledore raised his hands for silence again, and after a few seconds, everyone was focused on him again. "The press will be here, and we will also have karaoke set up for later in the night. Finally, there will be a dress code. Ladies will wear white and whatever their house color is. Men will wear suits and a tie that matches their house color. If anyone does not follow this guideline, I will be waiting at the door to change the color of your outfit, and believe me, you don't want to see what I come up with. Now, onto dessert!" Dumbledore finished, raising his hands, and different desserts appeared on all the tables.
