THE WITNESS {YIZHAN} (COMPLETED ✅✅)

21 THE SIGHT

On the way to the scene where the nurse found, Yibo got a call from the office.

"Yes, Chief!" He answered the call.

"..."

"I need to go to the scene. Can you continue without me?'

Zhan glanced at the Captain who seems to not so glad receiving the call from his leader.

"Ok. Fine. I'll be there!"

"..."

"I don't know! I can't predict! I'll be there when I reach there!"

Yibo ended the convo. He dumped his cellphone on the dashboard. Zhan looked at the innocent phone and then turned to the grumpy man.

"What's wrong?" Asked Zhan.

"Nothing'S wrong. Only the Commissioner is coming to the department and summon us to attend an urgent meeting...!" Replied Yibo without glancing at Zhan.

"So, you're supposed to be there!" Said Zhan.

"Yeah..." Yibo sighed.

Zhan nodded. Yibo slammed the wheels around and headed to the PD.

Reached the PD, Yibo and Zhan we jumped off the Jeep and straight away walked into the building.

"Capt! Dr. Fan expects you to come to his lab!" An officer welcomed them with a report.

"After I settle the shit with the Head!' Replied Yibo without turning to the officer.

The officer glanced at Zhan. Zhan nodded at him which returned by the officer with a wonder look.

"Zhan, get into my office. You wait for me there! Don't go anywhere!" Said Yibo.

"But what do I...?' Zhan didn't complete his sentence because Yibo cut his words.

"Clean my office!" Yibo cut Zhan's word.

Zhan nodded.

Yibo stopped at one door and opened it.

"This's my office. Stay inside and do cleaning!" Said Yibo.

Zhan popped his head into the office, then turned to Yibo.

"Get in!" Said Yibo, pushed Zhan's back lightly to get into the office. Then he closed the door again after Zhan is inside the room.

Yibo turned back and resumed the walk, makes his way to the meeting room. Behind him was the officer who looks wondered and confused. He followed Yibo, but his head keeps turning to Yibo's office.

Inside the room, Zhan was confused. He got no idea where he has to start. Yibo never gives him the cleaning equipment, too. He didn't even have a piece of cloth with him.

Zhan looked around, scanning the Captain's working room. The room wasn't tidy but it was quite organized. Zhan walked to the trophy's self and observing the trophies. Guess, the Captain maintained the trophies well. Like in his room in his apartment, there is no dust on the trophies.

Then Zhan walked again to the archives drawers. On top of the of them were stacks of paper and thick files, arranged unrurally.  Zhan pulled one of the drawers. It was locked. One drawer locked, means the other drawers underneath also locked. But Zhan didn't want to pay his curiosity. He walked around again and stopped by the Captain's working table. The table was quite big. Stacks of files occupied almost that big table. A telephone and a fax machine were stacked together on the side cabinet.

Zhan didn't know what to do. There are important documents on Yibo's table. No. All over the room. He didn't want to touch them. He didn't want to make a mess with those. But here he has to do some work, thus Yibo brought him along.
