41 THE STORY

The time when Zhu Yilong brought Zhan away from Yibo's apartment, Zhan got back his consciousness. He groaned softly, feeling the pain on the back of his neck. He rubbed it and straightened his sitting position on the backseat. He look around and he saw Zhu Yilong who was driving.

"Where are you going to bring me?" asked Zhan, squinted his eyes, still feeling the pain on his head.

"I'm sorry  Zhan! I have to do this without your concern. If I told you beforehand, you will stuck with your analyze and wasting the time...!" said Zhu Yilong, still focus on driving.

"Captain knows about this?" asked Zhan.

"Are you kidding me? He will snap if I tell him!" Zhu Yilong laughed without humor.

"Where are you gonna bring me?" asked Zhan again as if he knows why Zhu Yilong doing it.

"The safer place!" replied Zhu Yilong.

"Why?"

Zhu Yilong didn't promptly answer. His focus was on the road.

"Did you tell them about Cherry?" asked Zhan.

Zhan noticed Zhu Yilong clenched his hands on the steering wheel. Zhan knew that Zhu Yilong regretted his wrongdoing from how his knuckles turning white gripping the steering wheel.

"It was my fault..." said Zhu Yilong in a shivered voice.

"Why did you tell them?" asked Zhan again.

"I didn't know if Wang Sun Er is involve in this case...!" replied Zhu Yilong.

"You're not supposed to leak it to the outsider. Even Captain never tell Chief about Cherry...!" said Zhan.

"I was heavily drunk when I speak it out. Sun Er suddenly invited me to a club and treats me drink that night...!"

Zhan sighed. He slumped himself on the backrest and pushed his bang to the back.

Zhan didn't answer. He looked outside the window. His mind flew to the day when he arrives at Yibo's place. The time when he saw Wang Sun Er's photograph in Yibo's room. Zhan was shocked when he heard the loud screeching sound, created by the brake that hit abruptly. The car he was riding on also makes an abrupt move as Zhu Yilong slammed the wheel to avoid the crash between their car and another car that suddenly blocking their way diagonally.

"SHIT!!" he heard Zhu Yilong cursed.

Zhan looked at the car that blocking their way. Zhu Yilong turned his head to the backseat.

"Zhan! You run! I will cover you!" said Zhu Yilong.

"What? No!" screamed Zhan.

"Nothing you can do here! You can't fight them! You don't know how to use the gun!" shouted Zhu Yilong.

"I won't leave you here!" cried Zhan.

"Zhan! It's not the time to argue! If you don't want to do it for me, then do it for Captain! He will go crazy if you are hurt! I brought you from the house because I heard Sun Er is coming to "pick you up! GO!" Zhu Yilong shouted at Zhan.
