42 THE TRUTH

After he couldn't find his brother in the mansion, Yibo ran again with his Jeep to the place which Ray told him before. He had asked  the investigation team to track down Sun Er's phone number and they found that he is still in Beijing. So, he never leave the town as Mr. Lu told him. Then he remembered when Zhu Yilong tried to say something, trying to tell him about something. He mentioned Sun Er's name.

Who is the villain here actually? Zhu Yilong or Sun Er? If it was Zhu Yilong, then why Sun Er never try to call him to inform him about Zhan's whereabouts? Now they both are gone. If it wasn't Zhu Yilong, but instead of Sun Er...?

"FUCK! NOOO!!!" Yibo screamed and hitting the wheel.

His frustration made his eyes wet. He didn't know where Zhan is and he couldn't find Sun Er, too. To him, it was impossible if Sun Er is involved in this mess. He knew that his brother was very protective to him. He won't let any harm to him. He knew that Zhan is his happiness, his lover... So, it's impossible if he will hurt Zhan, too.

A long screeching sound deafening the ears when he kicked the brake abruptly to avoid the crash with a black wagon. His Jeep thrown to the side of the road, hitting a tree that stops it from keep rolling to the chasm.

Yibo raised his head from the wheel from the abrupt stopping. There was blood trickled down his forehead. He froze looking at the windshield, trying to collect his soul completely that happened to fly away for a few moment when the crash was almost occured.

After most of his soul comes back, he turned to the back to see the condition of the black wagon that also thrown to the roadside and hit the road shoulder. Yibo opened the Jeep's door and climbed down. Staggering, he walked to the black wagon to look how the driver's condition.

"Hey!" he knocked on the wagon's window on the driver's side.

There was no answer. Yibo tried to peek into the dark window to see the inside. Suddenly the window rolled down and a gun pointed at him. Yibo yelped when he saw the man inside the wagon.

"Hello, Captain...!" the man inside the wagon greeted the Captain. He smirked at Yibo.

"I knew it..." Yibo hissed between his gritted teeth. Then he touched the side of his body where he kept his gun inside its holster.

But he stunned when he was unable to find his gun there. Only the holster. As if he didn't believe that his gun wasn't there. Yibo checked out of the holster, but the gun wasn't there at all. Then he remembered that he threw his gun on the passenger seat inside his Jeep and he regretted it.

The man inside the wagon came out of the car with a gun still pointing at the Captain.

"Looking for this, Captain?"Another male's sound appeared from behind him. 

And when Yibo turned around to see who is coming, he saw the well-built man was holding up a gun to the sky. In one glance, Yibo recognized it as his gun.

"Give it back to me!" said Yibo with a stern voice.

The man smirked. He brought the gun down with a twirl around his finger.

"Sure!" replied the man, handing the gun with its butt facing Yibo.

 Yibo glared at the man. He knew the man will never give him his gun from how he's smirking at him. So, he put his guard up, alert for what's coming next.

And he was right. When he sees Yibo never make an attempt to get his gun, the man raised his hand and swung it toward Yibo. But Yibo who never let his guard down was able to avoid the attack easily and even sending the man the punch on his gutt. The man grunted and stepped backward with body bent. The gun he was holding also dropped on the ground.
