Quackity stood outside of the music room, listening to the music that was already playing inside. It sounded rough in some parts of the song, but you could definitely tell that there were some people playing that really cared about their performance.
The raven-haired was alone because he told Karl that this was something that he needed to do alone and that Karl needs to talk to Sapnap when he gets back from the cafe. Karl was hesitant on letting Quackity be on his own but eventually agreed.
The music came to a sudden halt and a familiar British voice called out. "Okay, I think that is a good place to end on! Some of us have improved greatly while some of you need to work in your own time," he said bluntly. "Otherwise you're dismissed, except for Tommy."
"The fuck?!" He could hear Tommy yell at the teacher as the other students began packing up their things.
The door swung open making Quackity quickly jump to the side against the wall. He held his guitar against his chest watching the students walk past him without even noticing him standing there.
A few seconds after the last student walked out, he was about to walk in but then heard speaking. "Tommy, I noticed you weren't really into the music today... Is everything alright?" Wilbur asked concerned.
Quackity could practically hear Tommy roll his eyes at his instructor. "Yeah, everything is just fine. I don't always need you up my ass, okay?!" He heard Tommy grab his things and stomp towards the exit.
Quackity stood still as he watched a blonde student with wings walking away without turning back. After he was out of sight, Quackity poked his head into the classroom; Wilbur floating in the middle of the room with his fingers to his temples. Quackity stepped into the doorway and knocked to announce his presence.
The ghost was startled and then gave an awkward smile. "Oh, hey Big Q."
The student took a few steps into the classroom and gave a little chuckle. "Troubled student?"
"More like a troubled brother," Wilbur replies.
"Ah, I never would've guessed haha."
"I get that a lot," Wilbur says giving a slight grin, then he claps his hands together and points to Quackitys guitar. "So I see you've thought about my offer?"
"O-Oh! Yeah, I haven't played my guitar since I started dating Schlatt," the younger male said bashfully. "But I really want to get back into it! I think it will be good to start a new hobby after such a big breakup..."
"That's an awesome idea!" Wilbur exclaims as he floats over and grabs Quackity's guitar from his hands. First, he runs a finger across the dusty wood, then he plucks a few cords making him wince. "Ah, it's a bit out of tune, but this is an incredibly nice guitar... Where'd you get it?"
Quackity froze slightly at the question and then stuttered out, "M-My dad."
Wilbur was too busy admiring the guitar to catch that it was a touchy subject. "Well you're dad must've had great taste-" the ghost bit his tongue as he saw Quackity looking away biting his lip.
When his father gave him that guitar, Quackity was young and he even still had his wings. At this young age, his father was also still a kind person who didn't drink. Every day Quackity would wait eagerly at the dining table with the guitar, ready for his next lesson. Until one day, his father came home a threatened to smash the guitar if Quackity didn't get it out of his sight. So from that day forward, Quackity would stay in his own room and would teach himself how to play... Alone.
"So were you looking into joining the club or having your own private sessions?" Wilbur asked already guessing which Quackity was going to choose.
