"Since when do you come to quant little cafe's," Quackity joked while holding his lover's hand.
Schlatt lets out a soft chuckle. "Since I realized they have the best bean juice in town, and not to mention the food they make here is great!" He explained in a little too cheerful of tone making Quackity raise a brow. "I, uh, also got a friend that works here that always gives me a little discount," the older man finally admits.
"There it is!" Quackity let out a laugh squeezing his boyfriend's hand. "I'm so excited to try this place, Baby..."

"Hey."
Quackity tenses up watching the Basalt Cafe come into view. 'This is fine,' he reassured himself.
"Quackity."
'This will be good for me, and it not like I have any bad memories... It's just-'
"Quackity!" The dazed male is brought back to reality when heard his name being called from the front seat; it was Sapnap. "Hey, are you okay Q?" The demon asked while tilting his head to the side.
Quackity looked back out the window and saw the Karl had already skipped onto the pavement and was checking out the exterior of the Basalt Cafe. The anxious male exhaled and looked back to his roommate. "I'm okay, I was daydreaming," he reassured with a smile.
Sapnap looked skeptical but Karl had called for them to hurry up. "Just let me know if you need anything," Sapnap said as he opened the door for Quackity.
Quackity nods and follows closely behind Sapnap as they caught up with the excited brunette. While the demon and time traveler talked about what was so great about the cafe, Quackity couldn't help but reminisce all of the date nights that were spent with him and Schlatt.
None of the memories were bad, but that was almost worse. They were great memories of Schlatt waking him up early to get a coffee and pastry, Schlatt surprising Quackity after a long day to get some ice cream; they were all happy memories that made his stomach turn as they walked through the doors of the Basalt Cafe.
'This will be fine, maybe I can find a way to speed up this outing before it gets worse,' Quackity had begun strategizing excuses to leave sooner until heard a familiar voice began speaking in front of them.
"Hi, what can I get started for you guys today?" The man behind the counter spoke in a chipper voice.
'Of course it's him working...' Quackity peaked out behind Sapnap and sure enough, it was one of Schlatts closest friends working behind the counter. The man, whose name was Ted, had dark hair and round glasses, and because he was a cow hybrid he had the ears and the horns of one.
"I've actually been here many of times at a different location," Sapnap started and then wrapped his arm around Karl's shoulder. "This one has never been here. Then I'm actually not sure if Quackity has," Sapnap said as he turned to the smaller male behind him.
"Quackity?" Ted asks a look of shock covering his face.
The raven sighs and stops trying to hide behind Sapnap. "Hey, Ted..." He says in a defeated tone. Ted was a really nice guy, always treated everyone kindly. It's just the fact that it's his ex's best friend.
"Oh, so you have been here before, or do you just know him?" Sapnap asks confused.
"Man, Quackity has been coming here with his boyfriend for almost over a year now. I'm surprised that you're not here with Schla-"
