"Wow, I kinda forgot that we had a greenhouse on campus..." Sapnap said as he walked up to the entrance. "No one ever talks about it." Carefully, the demon grabs the doorknob and turns it open. The hot humid air smacks him in the face compared to the cooling air that told everyone that fall was coming.
"That feels..." He takes a deep breath while shutting the door behind him. "This feels amazing," Sapnap said to himself. It gave him nostalgia from when he was 14 and his dad took him to the nether where he was found; it was bittersweet to see where he was abandoned, but where he was also found.
The demon marvels at all of the plants, but honestly didn't care enough to take a closer look at any of them. Sapnap continues walking through the garden, only having one goal in mind: Find Quackity!
"Sapnap is such a good person!" Sapnap stopped in his tracks when he heard a familiar sob.
'Karl?' The flame demon got closer to a blue flowery bush and crouched down behind it.
"It'll be okay, we have each other," another soothing voice said.
'And that's Quackity... What's going on...?' Sapnap thought to himself leaning in closer to make sure not to miss anything.
"I wish Sap was here," Karl said making the demon's heart skip a beat. "I wish Sap was here with both of us."
Sapnap couldn't help the giant smile that formed on his face after he said that. 'Would that mean Karl would be open to... other things?'
Sapnap snapped out of it when he heard a deep sigh. "So... Now that I've told you...Um..." Karl started, his voice shaky.
Quackity snickers and he could hear shuffling from the other side of the bush. "Woah, you recovered quickly," his roommate whispered in a low voice.
'Recovered quickly? What are they-'
"I didn't realize you wanted to kiss me that bad~."
"KISS!?" Sapnap suddenly yelled in which he covers his mouth immediately regretting it.
"Who the FUCK was that?!" Quackity shouted standing up from behind the bush, and Karl carefully getting up behind him, both of their faces red from what was about to happen.
'Fuck, Shit, Shit, Fuuuuuuuuck I'm gonna look like a stalkerrrrrrr...' Sapnap took a deep breath and slowly rose from the other side of the bush not making eye contact with either of them. "H-Hey guys, you're here too?"
Quackity crosses his arms and rolls his eyes. "Oh come on, playing dumb doesn't work with me," he spat at Sapnap. "Why were you sneaking around hm?"
"I wasn't sneaking around, I was just-"
"Oh hiding behind the bush isn't sneaking around?" Quackity interrupted walking up to Sapnap.
"I know what it looks like, I promise that I didn't mean for it to look like this," Sapnap said while putting his hands up.
"Then what were you doing?!" Quackity asked raising his voice.
"Why are you so pressed!?" Sapnap yelled getting in Quackity's face, feeling his chest start to burn.
Quackity's eyes shift away from the demon as he bit his lip. "B-Because you shouldn't spy on people!"
"Yeah," Sapnap huffed in frustration. "Or is it because you know you were about to kiss someone else's boyfriend?"
Quackity freezes, a wave of guilt washing over him and it showed. "I...I..." The older boy is unable to respond and wraps his arms around himself wanting to curl up into a ball and hide. 'Dammit, I knew this was a bad idea,' Quackity thought to himself feeling as though he fucked up another relationship, but this time it wasn't even his.
'Fuck, I didn't mean to say that,' Sapnap mentally slaps himself feeling a pit form in his stomach and the burn from earlier goes away as he reaches for the shorter male's shoulder. "Quackity, I didn't mean-"
"Guys come over here!" The distraught boys were startled by the sudden cheerful voice. They both look over to see Karl crouched next to a leafy plant with what looked to be a sign that was labeled strawberries. Sapnap looks back to Quackity who had already started walking over to the brunette.
Sapnap runs a hand through his black hair and heads over to his squatting boyfriend. "What is it?" He asked kneeling on the right side of him.
"Look," Karl says in a hushed tone and points at single strawberry that had fallen off its stem.
At first, Sapnap was confused, but with a closer look, he could see a snail had decided that the fallen strawberry would be his dinner that night. "Oh, it's a snail."
"It's so cute and small~!" Karl squeals closely watching the snail nibble on the red fruit.
Quackity fails to hold back a snort, making Sapnap raise a brow at the male sat on the left side of Karl. "That's what she said," he quickly says.
"Real mature," the demon says through a laugh forgetting that they had just argued not long before.
While the two of them giggled at the inappropriate joke, Karl stays silent and picks at the pink nail polish on his nails. "Um, Sapnap?"
Sapnap stops laughing and quickly notice something is wrong. "Are you okay?"
"About what was said earlier, about the kiss," the brunette said, the last part barely being heard. "Don't be mad at Quackity, I-I was the one who initiated it!" Karl squeezed his eyes shut in fear of seeing a look of disappointment on his face.
Sapnap hums to himself scratching the stubble on his chin to look like he was deep in thought. "Very interesting," he says thoughtfully.
Quackity stares at Sapnap waiting for a reply, afraid of what he was going to say. To the ravenettes surprise, the demon gave his boyfriend a big kiss on the cheek and pulled away with a big smile on his face; his fangs showing slightly.
Karl's go wide as he held the cheek that was just given a kiss. "Wha-"
"I think the three of us should go for a little outing, maybe get some ice cream or something," Sapnap said while standing behind the two perplexed boys and offered them both a hand. "Well, what do you guys say?"
"Y-You're not mad?" Karl asks while grabbing his boyfriend's hand making Sapnap chuckle.
"Why would I be mad?" He asks while looking a Quackity who was grabbing his other hand. "I'm sure everyone has wanted to kiss him at some point~" The demon flirted.
Quackity is fully stood when he yanks his hand away from Sapnap and his face turning a bright red. "Shut- You know- wow I can't- you are so-,"
"Such a big talker until someone else does it to you first," Sapnap teases while flicking the stuttering male's forehead. "Now let's go before it's too late," Sapnap suggests while holding Karl's hand leading him to the exit, Quackity following close behind.
"Whose vehicle are we taking? Because I don't have one at the moment, it's at the shop," Karl admits.
"Yeah, I don't have one either," Quackity says.
The three of them had just stepped out of the greenhouse, the fresh air feeling nice on their skin as the setting sun shined in their eyes. "Hmmm, so what I'm hearing is that none of us have a car..." Sapnap pointed out as he began to think again.
"You don't have a car either?" Quackity sassily asked while crossing his arms. "Now what?"
"Well we don't have to go into town, we can find something here to do," Karl suggested scratching the back of his neck.
Suddenly the demon snaps his fingers, a tiny spark flashing when he does. "I don't have a car, but you know does?" He says while smirking, the other two just shake their heads.
"Dream."
