Glowing Hearts :: Karlnapity

Chapter 13

"I'm actually not too sure myself," Karl admits looking away from the shocked men in front of him. 

Quackity puts his fingers to his temple as he tries to figure out what the hell he was just told. "Can you, like, explain what exactly you can do?" He asks because this isn't just some trick anyone can learn. 

"Well," Karl starts and clasps his hands together. "I discovered it about two years ago when I was riding a bike. I was going extremely fast down a hill and lost control, but right before I hit the ground, I uh, stopped myself," he explains while the two males just stared at him. 

"At first I thought it was just my imagination, but I was able to get up before time continued without a scratch. So ever since I've been practicing, alone that is. Neither of my parents knows how to use magic and I've never met someone who was able to control time," Karls says. 

"No shit!" Sapnap shouts unintentionally. "Sorry, it's just that not even some of the most powerful magic users have been able to control time, and even if they could they would have to have some sort of enchanted item... But if you can do it free handed-"

"That's exactly why I'm afraid to go and seek out help or even tell anyone about it," Karl sighs twiddling his thumbs. "I was hoping that when I got to this school that I would be able to ask for help but, to be honest, I'm terrified," he says while resting his face in his hands. 

Sapnap and Quackity both look at each other, both of them getting the feeling that he has kept this bottled up for a long time. "I'm glad you finally told someone," Karl quickly looks up to Quackity who was giving him a little grin. "I understand how it feels to keep something in for so long and to not have anyone to talk to," he then grabs Sapnap's shoulder. "But now you have us!"

Karl could feel like he could cry, a huge weight had been lifted off his chest. "You guys are awesome!" Karl flings himself forward and wrapping his arms around the two men, then the three of them fall back on the bed. Karl was laying on top of Sapnap and Quackity, who were still in shock from the sudden attack. 

Sapnap felt all the blood rush to his face when the brunette nuzzled his face into the crook of his neck, for some reason this gave Quackity a feeling of jealousy. So in turn he wraps both his arms around Karl's waist and holds him tight. 

'I was the one who said he had us, Sapnap didn't even say anything,' Quackity thought to himself and rolled away from Sapnap so he had Karl to himself. 

The cool air of the emptiness hits Sapnap when Karl was pulled away, making him feel frustrated. 'So that's how it's going to be huh?' The demon reached his arm all the across both men and pulled them on top of himself.

"Ay Man!" Quackity yelled as he squirmed around in Sapnap's arms, but he doesn't let go. 

"We're all in this together!" Sapnap grunted trying to keep the smaller male from moving so much. 

"Did you seriously just quote High School Musical?!" 

"Shut up!"

"Uh, guys?" Karl finally spoke up; not only was Quackity wrapped around him like a kola, but Sapnap was wrapped around him as well. "I'm glad you guys are getting along but I'm kinda squished," he admits. 

"Oh," Sapnap says while opening his arms back up. "Sorry about that," he bashfully apologizes. 

Quackity also releases Karl, so now the three of them were sat looking at each other now... Awkard silence filling the room. Sapnap and Karl were eyeing each other up and down, and Quackity was watching the two of them intensely. 

"So um," Quackity says, breaking them out of their gaze. "Is anyone else hungry?" 

Sapnap puts his hands on his stomach and groans. "Now that you mention it I am getting pretty hungry..."
