Quackity ran across the courtyard of Lmanburg University until he reached the large, neatly kept greenhouse. The raven-haired attempted to look through the glass of the greenhouse, but the plants were overgrown making it impossible to see through.
Quackity grabbed the greenhouse handle firmly and took a deep breath before pulling open the door. "Karl?" He called out into the humid garden house. The building was bright and growing to the brim with many exotic plants. The air was thick with the smell of sweetness and earthiness from the flowers and freshly watered soil.
Quackity stopped in his tracks and spun in a circle in awe. "How... How have I never been in here?" He asked aloud as he began to kneel by a cluster of poppy's, but heard a sob farther into the garden.
"Why *sniff* did I act like that?" A familiar voice croaked.
Quackity followed the crying until he turned the corner of a bloomed blue hydrangea bush, and there sat a brunette with his head to his knees and his shoulders shaking. "Um, Karl?"
Karl gasps and quickly begins to wipe away his tears with the sleeve of his jacket before looking up at Quackity. "Oh hey, Quackity, w-what are you doing here?" He asked while attempting to sound okay, but his voice was still shakey.
"What's wrong?" Quackity asked him softly.
"Nothings wrong, I just come here and-"
"Okay, I'm going to stop you right there," Quackity interrupted; he kneels down and sits criss-cross next to Karl underneath the blue flowering bush. The wingless male reaches his hand up towards the hydrangea blooms and gently touches the petals, a few falling into his lap.
He could feel a pair of turquoise eyes on him, but he chooses to ignore it. "I know I'm just so sexy," Quackity said finally making eye contact, making Karl blush and look away. "But I want to know why you're crying."
"I swear I'm okay," Karl reassures giving the other male a large smile.
"Hmmm," Quackity hummed while thinking, then got an idea. "Man, these flowers are absolutely gorgeous, I can see why you would want to come here."
"Yeah, they help me feel calm," Karl said picking up a few petals from the ground.
"They remind me of your eyes," Quackity says while looking over to Karl who took a moment to realize what he just said.
"What?" The brunettes cheeks were dusted pink.
Quackity feels his cheeks get warm as he held a blue petal next to Karl's eyes. "I..." Quackity's heart begins to race and the petal drops from his fingers as he continues to stare. "I want..." Quackity gently places his fingers and Karls warm cheek.
Karl swallows hard feeling his heartbeat in his head. "Yes?"
The raven moves in closer to Karls's face. "I really want to kiss you," he said quietly and Karl's eyes widen.
'One kiss... Wouldn't hurt,' Karl thought to himself biting his lip.
Quackity watches as Karl closes his eyes and begins to close the gap; then Quackity places a finger on the brunette's soft lips.
Karl's eyes slowly flutter open as he pulls away. "I'm confused."
"A kiss, after you tell me what happened," Quackity smirks while booping his nose.
Karl lets out a loud sigh and bringing his knees to his chest. "Fine, but... Only if I get a little kiss..." He said bashfully.
Quackity tries to contain his happiness knowing that Karl still was to kiss him. "I have no problem with that."
