Chapter 20

"Um, I, um my n-name?" Sapnap stuttered out while jumping to his feet making the large creature sigh and shake his head. 

"Yes, I'm head of campus security, Sam, and I asked for your name and what your business is here," he restated while holding the tablet up. 

"Um, Sapnap," the student finally said. Upon further inspection, Sam was very muscular and tall, and his dark green hair pulled back into a small ponytail looked as soft as the fur of one of his giant fur paws. 'Wait, why is he kinda...' 

"Sapnap, it says that your father works here?" 

Sapnap snapped out of it looking back up to him. "Uh, yeah, he's the literature professor."

"I'm aware," Sam said without looking up from scrolling on his tablet, then he stops and looks back at the student. "It says here that you should be in your Government class, so state your reason of why you're here." 

Sapnap couldn't even see his face but he could feel his eyes burning through his soul. "Oh, well you see I felt like I was going to throw up and then instead of running to the bathroom I ran outside because you know fresh air helps being nauseous and you know it actually did help and I-"

"Sam, is that you?" Sapnap looked past the green creature and saw the agriculture professor. He wore the teacher's school uniform and had a red multicolored mask. His fluffy white twisted around in the wind and his eyes were hopeful. 

Sam slowly turned around and his small bobtail began to wag slightly. "Ponky?" The guard asked in a happier tone of voice and lifted his leg to start walking over to the professor.

"Um... Am I good to go orrrrr?" Sapnap asked not wanting to feel like a third wheel anymore.  Sam shook his head and turned away from Ponk.

"Go to the nurse's office and I better not catch you skipping class again," Sam said while pointing a stern finger at Sapnap. 

"Yup understood!" And he quickly ran back into the school and into the school he went. 'What that fuck even was that...' He walked past the office and turned the corner into the nurse's office. Inside the room, there was an older woman wearing scrubs and she had blonde hair and white wings that touch the ground. Her glasses falling to the edge of her nose as she was doing a crossword. 

"Excuse me?" Sapnap said softly trying not to startle the nurse. 

"OH MY WORD!" She yelled as her wings flapping behind her, and then she narrows her eyes to the demon. "What on earth are you doing young man? You trying to give an old woman a heart attack?" She yelled with her Irish accent. 

"I'm so sorry," he tried apologizing but none of his words got through to her. She kept going off until a girl with pastel pink hair and cat ears walks out from the back room. 

"Dr. Winda, you are all right," she said in a gentle tone and pushed down her wings. 

"Ugh, I'm terribly sorry, Niki, do you mind taking care of him? I'm quite deep into my crossword," the doctor said looking back down to her crossword. 

"Sure," Niki agreed and then looked up to Sapnap through her round glasses. "What brings you in here?" 

'Why is everyone being so weird today?' He thought to himself. "I think I got some sort of food poisoning," Sapnap lied. 

"Oh! Okay well if you just follow me back here, I can get you some medicine for it," she said as she led the demon to a smaller room with a bed and medicine cabinet. Niki pointed at the bed for him to sit down, and he did. He watched and she grabbed a stepstool and unlocked it with a keep from her necklace.
