Chapter 9 Damnatio

Asta walked down the street it was becoming nighttime in the clover kingdom and Asta was heading to Damnatio's office to have a little chat. As he was walking his mind filled with anger towards the man who pretty much ruined his life and made him have to turn back on his friends he hated himself right now. He kept walking for about 10 minutes before he finally came upon the place where Damnatio's office resided. "Well here goes nothing Asta thought as he took his sword out of his sheath and begun to fly upwards towards his window. As he flew up he noticed the light was off and he wondered if he was to late but from the things he heard from Damnatio he knew he would be back soon. Asta flew up and went through his window quietly as to not break it. Then he shut the window and took a seat in Damnatio's chair and put his feet up on the desk.

After waiting a couple of minutes he heard footsteps outside and the door opening and lo and behold it was Damnatio who hadn't noticed Asta yet as he can't sense someone's magic if they don't have any.

"Evening" Asta said. Damnatio immediately turned around turning on the light and getting his magic divider out. "What are you doing here how dare you break into my office Damnatio said. "Not really breaking in if you leave the windows unlocked that's just begging someone to come in Asta said. "My office is on the top floor" Damnatio said. "People climb stupid now take a seat before this gets messy and before you try it your divider won't work on me Asta said. Damnatio see he really had no choice did what Asta said. "So what is it you want Asta" Damnatio said. "Wow surprised you know who I am considering I didn't get a fair trial must've done your research ol judgey boy" Asta said. "Again I say what is it you want I'm a very busy man He said. "Oh I'm just here to give you a warning". "A warning about what the dark triad". "Oh no this is something far worse then them if their plan succeeds. "What plans? Damnatio asked. "I don't know if it's true these are just rumors but apparently they're wanting to break the barrier between our world and the devils to bring utter chaos were they will rule over Asta said. "Does Julius know about this Damnatio asked. "Yeah I told him when we talked before I came back but we both agreed to keep it under wraps until our agent comes back with proof Asta said. "Agent what agent I wasn't informed of this Damnatio said. "Oh I know I made sure of that,you see you wouldn't exactly like him and I've know him for years he's trustworthy he'll get what we need Asta said. "So what role do I play in this why come to me. "Well you see that divider you got there is pretty useful against magic train that well and we might have a chance of defending the clover kingdom while we're away in spade Asta said. "So you want me to just wait for them to come here then Damnatio questioned. "No I want you to train that so when the time comes you'll be ready cause if what we speculate it true it'll be hell on earth if we fail Asta said. "Alright I'll do but in return you will never come back to the clover kingdom Damnatio said. "Oh silly Damnatio I wasn't going to. "What why Damnatio said. "Cause I'm destined to die when we go someone's gotta make the sacrifice play and I know you're to chicken shit to do it Asta said. "Fine the terms of our agreement change you come back alive and I'll lend a hand Damnatio. "Oh what made you change you mind about lil old me Asta said. "Cause I don't want to here Fuegolon complain again. "He would have complained if I was kicked out again Asta said. "Just shut up and get out of my office Damnatio said. With that Asta jumped back out the window and flew off.

A week passed and it's nighttime again and we see the black bulls base in view with the members celebrating Vanessa's birthday. All of the black bull members were there except one and they still felt his absence to this day but now was not the time for that now was the time for celebration. Noelle had cheered up a little and came down from her room to celebrate and take her mind off Asta. The black bulls partied and partied all throughout the night until it was just Vanessa and Yami awake.  "So how'd you enjoy the party Yami asked. "It was fun I just wish Asta were here to celebrate it with us she said looking down towards the ground. "I know me to but you know he thinks he has to take on the dark triad alone and wants to push everyone away we'll mostly just us but still kids an idiot Yami said. "Well he takes after someone I know pretty well Vanessa said with a smirk. "I have no clue what you're talking about Yami said. As they were talking they heard a knock on the door. "I wonder who that could be I'll get it Vanessa said. She opened the door and saw no one there she looked around until she finally looked down and saw a bottle of some expensive wine and a photo turned upside down. She picked up the bottle and the photo and set the bottle down on the table. "So who was it Yami asked. "It was no one just that bottle and a picture Vanessa said. "We'll flip it over and see what it is"Yami said. Vanessa flipped the picture over and the sight nearly brought her to tears  . It was a photo that was taking earlier today with her in the black bulls celebrating and Asta taking a selfie while smiling with the words happy birthday Vanessa written on it. "Gotta admit kids got ya good with one Yami said. "You knew he was here Vanessa said. "Course I did I can read his ki he showed up before the party began Yami said. "Why didn't you tell anyone Vanessa asked. "Like I said kid's kinda dumb thinking he can push us away but I let him hide just this once Yami said. "Well next time I see him I'll thank him. "You know he's been outside this whole time right Yami said. Vanessa didn't say another word opting to just run out the door as she went outside she looked around the trees and saw a figure standing there. They stated at each other neither one saying a word until the figure just waved at her and smiled and then vanished. Vanessa just fell to her knees and started repeating the same thing over and over again. "Asta please come home we miss you.

An/ and that's a wrap omg two chapters in one week impossible but look it happened so just remember that Yuno has now clue Asta is back he's been on a mission this entire time so yeah keep that in mind for anyway bye
