The rage of a hurt devil

Chapter 12 A battle

Asta and Dante stared at each other only 20 feet
separating the two of of them. On one side Dante stood alone with a wicked and deranged smile on his face just wanting to kill someone. On the other we have Asta behind him was the black bulls his old family who every time he wanted to push them away fate would intervene and make him come closer with them these were the people he had to protect no matter what. As the two stared at each other neither one taking their eye of the other Asta spoke.

"Why is it you're here Dante"

"Wouldn't you like to know Dante said.

"That's why I asked you fucking idiot Asta said

"My my do you kiss your mother with that mouth oh wait you don't do you Dante said

"Shut up Asta said

"You wanna know how she died, she died screaming and in pain begging and pleading for that devil inside your grimoire to live refusing to move as she was stabbed over and over again. Oh the screams she made were music to Lucfierios ear and if I were the it would have been music to mine to Dante said.

Asta didn't say anything all he did was take off his cloak and throw it towards Noelle covering her face.

"Hold onto to that for me he said.

"When Noelle took the cloak off her face she looked at Asta horrified his left leg was also black and red just like his arm.

"Oh now this is new I don't remember taking your leg what happened to it brat Dante said with his finger on chin thinking

"That law of equivalent exchange Asta said as he put his hands together which made him look like he was praying then slammed his hands on the ground causing the earth form under him to form multiple pillars heading straight towards Dante (if you know this reference good job)

Dante not expecting this immediately got hit by all the pillars sending him flying backwards as Asta once again did the same motion creating a bow and arrow coating it with anti magic and shooting then towards Dante.

"Um guys what hell did Asta just do Magna said.

"It looked like he used magic without a grimoire Luck said.

"Could he use magic all this time but wait how come we never sensed it before Vanessa said.

"But how is he able to use such strong magic without a grimoire that shouldn't be possible Noelle said

Back to the fight most of the arrows had hit Dante but a couple missed

"Well that should slow him down over time now to buy said time Asta said as he charged towards Dante

Dante looked up still recovering from the attack he was dazed and confused when he saw a fist coming towards him knocking him back even further then he grabbed by his ankle and slammed on the ground resulting in him coughing up blood.

But Dante quickly recovered and used his gravity to slow Asta down just enough so he could get a hit in sending Asta back towards the black bulls.

Asta went flying back towards the black bulls but he put his hands on the ground and pushing himself off to regain his footing,his break was short lived because right as he regained his footing Dante was right in front of him tackling him to the ground but with quick thinking Asta got his feet on Dante's stomach and kicked him off.

"Asta's getting his ass kicked right now we gotta help him Magna said standing up with difficulty.

"Right behind ya Magna Luck said.
