Chapter 14 Wandering

Spoilers for the end of the anime dealing with Asta's parents you've been warned.

Asta was on a hospital bed in the capital his wounds were graver then they first appeared. He had five broken ribs while three were cracked,he also had a cracked skull with multiple cuts all over his body,pieces is rocks embedded in his skin and last but not least a giant hole in his stomach courtesy of Zenon. Safe to say Asta ain't doing to well,and right by his side was Noelle she hasn't moved from her spot next to him even though it's been nearly two weeks since the battle where Asta and Gauche were gravely injured as well as Yami but unlike those two he wasn't in a coma.

"So the brat still hasn't woken up Yami said

"No he hasn't his body is still very weak and halfway through me operating on him he woke and started thrashing around yelling don't let her take me so we had to sedate him to calm him down Owen said.

"Poor kid I can't help but wonder what he went through that Vancia girl treated Asta like a pet Julius eyes widen with realization,you don't think she.

"If she did I'll gut the bitch Yami said taking a puff of his cigarette.

"Well I guess we'll have to wait and see till he wakes up to ask him about it Owen said.

Noelle was sitting by Asta's side watching his chest go up and down a sign that he was still breathing but sometimes she couldn't help and look as his face and look at how peaceful he looked when he slept,almost like the last 3 years hadn't happened for him yet.

There was a knock on the door and Noelle told the person to come in. When the door opened it revealed Vanessa walking into the room.

"I see he's still out cold Vanessa said.

"Yeah he hasn't woken up yet and I've been here the whole time Noelle said sadly.

"Well Owen said he should wake up soon hopefully Vanessa said.

"I hope.....how's Gauche by the way Noelle asked.

"He's woken up once but that was only for a couple of minutes then fell back asleep again hasn't woken up since Vanessa said.

"What about the captain Charmy and Finral Noelle asked.

"All of them have healed up and are doing fine although a little depressed that Asta and Gauche are in comas Vanessa said.

"Oh well it's nice to know they're healed Noelle said as she looked back towards Asta with a sad look on her face his cloak wrapped around her.

"Noelle when was the last time you left this room Vanessa asked worry clear in her voice.

"I don't know when he got back for surgery Noelle said.

"Noelle that was 12 days ago you need to go home shower get some rest then come back Vanessa said.

"But what if he wakes up and I'm not here then he'll be alone Noelle said.

"Look I'll make you a deal if you go home get a shower,eat and get some rest I'll stay by his side till you get back deal Vanessa said.

Noelle thought for a moment before answering. hesitating but eventually agreeing to Vanessa demands and leaves the room while Vanessa takes a seat next to Asta.

"I'd really wish you'd wake up soon kid we all miss you Vanessa said as she grabbed Asta's hand.

With Asta we see him awoken in a beautiful field of flowers ranging from tulips to roses as far as the eye could see,with a clear sky so beautiful you could look at it for hours. In the distance there were mountains with snow on top of them, and right in front of Asta was a lake so clear he could see the bottom of it without even being in it Asta thought you could call this place a paradise which for some people it is.

"Alright Liebe where the hell are we Asta asked.

"Liebe? Asta said again looking around and not seeing Liebe anywhere. "Where the hell is he Asta thought while scratching the back of his head.

"Asta a female voice that Asta didn't recognize called out to him. Moving quickly he snapped his head around only to see a women with the same color hair he had green eyes while wearing a white shirt with a red vest over it with white pants.

"Uh hello who are you? And have you seen my brother I kinda don't know where he is Asta said.

The women giggled putting Asta's guard up a little. "Liebe isn't here at the moment he's still exhausted from the fighting the women said.

"How do you know about the fight and where the hell am I exactly cause I know for a fact my body is not in perfect condition Asta said looking all over himself but noticed something strange.

He noticed that he had his right arm and left leg back now.he was really on guard now his eyes scanning everywhere around him.

The women seeing this only giggled once more at the young man.

"Ok lady this isn't funny where the hell am I cause I know for a fact that half of these limbs aren't real Asta said.

"Oh Asta we're not in the real world right now silly the women said with a smile.

"First off I never told you my name second what the hell do you mean we're not in the real world Asta said.

"What I mean is I summoned you here Asta and don't you take that tone with me young man the woman said.

"What are you my mother or something Asta said.

"Why yes I am the woman said playfully.

"There's no way in hell you're my mom Liebe said she died a long time ago Asta said.

"Well Asta Liebe was right I did die protecting him from Luciferio the women said.

"If you're really my mom then what's you name Asta said.

"My name is Lichita and I am your mother Asta.

Asta's eyes widened now that he took a closer look at her he could see the similarities between them but was still hesitant that he was being told the truth then he remembered that his dumbass could sense ki.

"So you're really my mom huh? Asta said.

"Oh so now you see the similarities you little shit.

Asta read her ki when she said that and knew she wasn't lying the women in front of him right now was actually his mother the women who left him on the doorstep of the church all those years ago.

"Mom Asta said as his eyes widened with realization which quickly turned to anger.

"Why did you give me up he said coldly.

And that ends the chapter sorry it's short but kinda wanna make this a two parter and I'm also tired but don't want you guys to keep waiting for a chapter so yeah. Also if you're worried about Mimosa she just had exhaustion so she just needed a nap that's all no treatment from Owen.
