Chapter 5 Catching up part.2

After sister Lily let go of Asta she showed him to his seat and sat across from him and started berating him with questions. Asta held his hand up signaling for sister lily to slow and so she did. "Look I'll explain everything but first I need to do something he said. Sister Lily nodded letting Asta do what he needed to do. "Nash go into town and hang out with the pitchers for a bit have some fun and take this Asta said as he threw a bag of cash at where Nash was hiding. Nash popped up from where he was hiding and look at Asta asking if it was ok for him to take this. Asta just nodded and Nash was on his way to go be a kid for once and not the older brother. "Why'd you do that sister Lily asked. "Well the kid needs to live his life sometimes and he should make the happy memories while he can so when the bad times come he can hold onto to those memories Asta said with a sad look on his face. "What's wrong Asta you look troubled sister Lily asked. "When I left I found another place to call home and right now that place is in trouble so what did I do, did I stay and try to help out, no I left and came back here I don't even know why the hell I came back here,back to the place I thought I could make a difference here,make friends who had my back no matter what but when the time came they all turned their back on me Asta said with tears forming on his eyes. Sister Lily looked at Asta shocked she had never seen him break down like this and she didn't know what to do but Asta kept on letting out three years of pent up emotions. "The only people who ever really believed in me were you and Yuno and I don't even know where the hell he his right now, not even the old timer believed in me and he fucking raised me like I was his own. "L-lily how how did he die Asta asked. Lily took a second to compose herself from not breaking down hearing how Asta had felt and by the fact she had never seen him look like this before after a minute she spoke. "He was killed in a bandit raid about 2 years ago,but he went down protecting the kids and was able to hold out until the magic knights showed up Lily said. "Heh sounds like something the old timer would do,did they ever get rid of the bandits Asta asked. "No they didn't but they haven't tried anything since that day Lily said. "So Asta what happened to you during those three years Lily asked. "I'll give you the short version and it'll be easier to explain if I introduce you to someone Asta said. "You can come out now Liebe Asta said as Liebe popped out of nowhere onto his shoulder in his chibe form. "Sup he said as he was sitting on Asta's shoulder. Lily just sat there shocked at the fact Asta had a devil on his shoulder. "It's ok Lily he won't hurt you I promise he to small to Asta said with a smirk on his face. "I can't wait to go back home and watch Undine blast your ass again Liebe said. "Wait Undine as in the water spirit Undine Lily asked. Yeah this is how we're gonna explain everything Asta said. With that Asta spent the next 2 hours talking to Lily about what happened durning his time away and by the end of it she pulled Asta into a hug to help the young man with his trauma. AN/ bet you thought I was gonna tell you what happened but not yet it'll be revealed in a little bit.

After that the rest of the kids came into the church and saw sister Lily hugging some guy they didn't know.
"Sister Lily who's that one of them asked
"Yeah is he a suitor another one asked
"Oh if he is does that mean you're no longer part of the cloth
Nash was just in the back of the group trying not to laugh his ass off none of the other kids noticed though. "Uh kids you might want to sit down Sister Lily said as the kids listened to what she said. "So sister Lily who is he Recca asked. Asta for the first time in a while smiled like an actual real smile. "You want to tell them or should I Asta said. "You can tell them I think it'll be better that way Lily said. "Recca how is it I'm away for three years and you still have that Afro like I would have expected you to change your hair style sooner or later Asta said. "Oh and nice to see you a carrying a baby either. With that everyone's eyes widened except for Nash and Lily as the all ran and hugged Asta there big brother had finally returned. After catching up for a while Asta was about to leave when Nero came through the door saying someone was coming. After she said that the roof of the church blew open and separated everyone with sister Lily on her own. She coughed as brushed away the debris and smoke that was around her and looked up to see a man standing but not on the ground but instead using bones to support him making him taller than usual. "So where's the brat I know he's here the man said. I don't know what you're talking about sister Lily said with fear starting to take over her. "Not gonna talk very well then you'll be if no use to me the man said as he lowered himself down and made and sword out of his bones. "I'll give you one more chance answer the question or I'll kill you he said. "I have no idea what you're taking about sister Lily said standing her ground. "Very well then be that way the man said as he swung his sword.

Lily braced herself for the impact but nothing happened because when she opened her eyes she saw Asta standing there with his own sword holding him back. "A-Asta you saved me again Lily said recalling the time he and Yuno saved everyone from the elves. LILY RUN GET AS FAR AWAY FROM HERE AS YOU CAN Asta shouted. With that Lily took off out of the church and met up with the others. "Where's Asta Nero asked as Asta came flying through the roof of the church landing in front of them. Asta got up and got ready to fight again but heard someone calling his name. He turned around and saw a portal open behind him and Finral popped out. "The hell are you doing here Asta asked. "Nero called for help and I was the quickest on to get here to help with the evacuation Finral said as the rest of the black bulls came out of the portal. "I don't know why the hell your all here but get everyone out you can't deal with him except Yami Asta said. "Everyone not wanting to argue with Asta helped in the evacuation while Asta and Yami held of Zenon. After the evacuation was done everyone met back up at the portal. "Alright all of you leave now Asta said. "What about you what are you gonna do Noelle said. "Oh so now you care what happens to me Silva Asta said blocking a bone heading straight for her. "Asta everyone else is through its just you three left Finral said. "Yami go through the portal I'll hold him back Asta said. "Fine but you better not get killed kid or I'm gonna kill ya Yami said. Asta chuckled and said I'll spar you when this is over. After that Yami went through the portal. "Asta come on hurry up and get to the portal Noelle said. "Why the hell are you still here I told you to go Silva. "Not without you Noelle said. "NOELLE GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE RIGHT NOW Asta said as he pushed her through the portal. "Finral how much longer can you keep that portal open for Asta asked. About 15 more seconds then I'm out of mana Finral said. "Good Without saying a word Asta pushed Finral through his portal and watched as it started to shut. Asta no Finral shouted as he watched the portal close leaving Asta alone with Zenon. Asta turned back around and looked at Zenon and smiled. "Well then shall we continue Asta asked as he went into his devil union form. Zenon eyes widened in horror as he realized that Asta was just messing with him.

AN/ another cliffhanger I know I suck but I don't really know how to write fight sciences and Yami will tell them what happened when he and Asta fought Zenon that's why I didn't write it anyway bye see you next chapter
