Chapter 18 the rivaliry is still alive

We see Asta and Noelle asleep with each other. Now you may ask why they are asleep together I thought Asta hated Noelle. Well you see in the middle of the night after Asta did some stuff that's not entirely legal to some royals. (*cough* *cough* her sibling) they had another talk and this time Asta didn't lie. He didn't tell her everything about what he's been through hell the only thing she knows is that Dante took his arm and that's it. So they had their talk and Asta had told her that he was scared of everyone he once held dear or rather still holds dear even after what happened. He didn't want to see them killed, now you may ask oh he must have a good plan to save them right. Eh sort of you see his plan was to make the defenses of the clover kingdom as strong as they ever were in history and then head to spade by himself and fight the dark triad on his own. Now you may be thinking that's really dumb and suicidal and you'd be right it is. Now Asta's at a crossroad of what to do,does he stick with his original plan or make a new one that involves everyone and that's where our story continues.

Asta is once again in his mindscape once again seeing red and black all around him.

"You know I'm glad you're ok but you really gotta change this background it looks fucking terrifying Asta said.

"Well I'm a demon so get used to it anyway good job out there sorry I wasn't much help Liebe said.

"Nonsense you were without that anti magic I would've lost but they're gonna be expecting that next time so we need to work on our other moves and try and keep their hidden Asta said.

"You're right anyway just wanted to tell you that go and get some rest now Liebe said.

"Alright see you later man Asta said.

We cut back to Asta and Noelle. Noelle had just woken up and remembered she was still in Asta's arms.

"God I hope no one sees my like this Noelle said.

"To late for that a voice said.

Noelle turned around and saw both Yuno and Vanessa. 

"Uh this ain't what it looks like Noelle said.

"Yeah sure it doesn't anyway can you wake him up Yuno said.

"Yeah come Noelle once he's awake we're gonna head to Owen get you cleaned up Vanessa said.

"Asta ,Asta wake up Noelle said shaking Asta awake.

"Hmm alright I'm up I'm up Asta said.

Asta opened his eyes and immediately was confused.

"Huh Noelle why are you in my bed Asta asked.

"What do you mean why am I in you're bed you passed out and grabbed onto and we ended up like this Noelle said.

"Well why haven't you moved yet Asta said.

"Cause your arms are still around me dumbass Noelle said.

"Oh whoops sorry about that Asta said as he let go.

As he let go both Noelle and Vanessa left with Asta seeing he redness all over Noelle's face.

"I wonder why her face is so red is she sick Asta said aloud.

"Honestly you such and idiot sometimes Yuno said.

"Oh shit you're here been a while hasn't it Asta said.

"Yeah that it has guess I can't call you shorty anymore Yuno said with a smile on his face.

"No not anymore I ate lots of meat and drank lots of milk and with a lot of strength training I grew big and strong Asta said.

"Yeah yeah anyway I heard about the attack on Hage is everyone alright Yuno asked.

"Yeah they're fine luckily I was able to hold off Zenon long enough till the black bulls showed up Asta said.

"Ah well good job I'd hate to see the place where we grew up destroyed Yuno said.

"Oh no it is destroyed they just started rebuilding but no one was killed Asta said.

"Damn that's a blessing and a curse Yuno said.

"Yeah I know what you mean it sucks that all the buildings got destroyed but it's a good thing no one died because buildings can be replaced people can't Asta said.

"So you still trying to marry sister Lily Yuno said.

"Ha no I stopped that it's funny cause she asked the same thing when I visited Asta said.

"Ha that's funny Yuno said.

"I heard about Orsi Asta said.

"Yeah I figured you would he died shortly after you left Yuno said.

"Yeah Lily told me I mean that man always tried to put me down but he took me in when no one else would and for that I'm grateful Asta said.

"Yeah I know what you mean even though he treated me better than you he still took us in when no one else would and for that he has my eternal respect Yuno said.

"Oh yeah well he has my eternal respect times two Asta said.

"That doesn't law any sense Yuno said.

"Shut up yes it does you're just jealous Asta said.

And so Yuno and Asta talked for a while and caught up on what they had been doing these last 3 years. When Yuno heard what Vancia had done to him he was furious but Asta told him to save his anger for the fight that was coming.

"Well I surprised Bell hadn't come out yet and started yelling Asta said.

"She's been trying but I've been holding her back Yuno said.

"Let her out let's see what happens Asta said.

Yuno let's Bell out who immediately starts asking Yuno out in a date.

"Well that went as expected Asta said.

"Oh yeah punk who do you think you are Bell said.

But when she turned around what she saw surprised her.

"Asta is that you Bell said in disbelief.

"Uh yeah who else would it be Asta said.

Immediately Bell flew towards Asta and hugged him which caught the two boys completely off guard.

"Oh I'm so glad you're back Asta it hasn't been the same without you Bell said.

"Well this is unexpected Asta said.

"Yeah it is Bell I didn't know you cared about Asta so much Yuno said.

"Oh I don't but know that he's back you'll smile again Bell said.

"Ah there's the Bell we know Asta said.

"Asta I have something to ask you Yuno asked.

"Yeah sure what's up Asta said.

"Vancia said she knew my parents do you know what she was taking about Yuno said.

"No I don't but let's find out together before we kill them. Asta said.

"I bet I can kill the before you Yuno said.

"Oh no way in hell I'll do it before you Asta said.

And so the two boys went back and forth arguing while Noelle and Vanessa leaned on the doorframe watching them both.

"Nice to see he's getting back to his old self Vanessa said.

"Yeah it is nice Noelle said.
