Asta stared at his mom,he had a look of anger and one of deep sadness aimed directly at her.
"Answer me damnit why'd you leave me,what was it because I was weak because I wasn't like the other kids or was it maybe I was just a mistake oh that has to be it I'm a mistake not even a living thing to you just a regret you did Asta shouted.
"Asta sweetie you need to calm down Lictia said.
"Calm down calm down you really want me to calm down when you took Liebe in no problem but with me oh no god forbid you take care of you're actual child that you gave birth to Asta shouted.
"Asta you need to calm down and listen to me let me explain Lictia pleaded.
"Oh and who the hell even is my dad is he here to is he gonna be here to tell me son don't talk to your mother that way be respectful Asta said.
"ASTA SHUT UP AND LISTEN Lictia shouted.
Asta look at her still with anger and sadness but also surprise.
"Look Asta I had a condition where I would suck the mana out of living things and their life force eventually killing them I gave you to the church because it was the only way you'd be safe Lictia said.
"So you're the reason I don't have any magic Asta said.
Lictia was quiet for a moment before she spoke again.
"Yes I did I took away your mana and you had so much that it pained me when I took it cause I knew you'd never get it back,and when I left you on the door at the church by that time I had taken away all of your mana Lictia said.
"And then after that you found Liebe and regretted everything and saw him as your second chance am I right Asta asked calmly this time.
"Yes I regretted giving you up every single day of my life even when I was with Liebe I still missed you Lictia said.
Asta stood there for a moment contemplating everything and sighed.
"Well I shouldn't be mad at you cause it wasn't something you could control and you did what you thought was best and besides I learned my own way to fight with "magic" Asta said while doing air quotes on the last word.
"Thank you Asta really Lictia said.
"So who's my dad Asta asked.
At this Lictia froze and Asta noticed it but decided to let her get herself ready instead of rushing her.
"You may wanna sit down for this Lictia said.
"Alright Asta said.
Both Lictia and Asta sat down and Lictia waited for a moment.
"Ok please don't be mad when you hear this Lictia said.
"Why would I be mad I mean he abandoned me so he's not my father not in my eyes it'd be nice to know who he is though Asta said.
"That's the thing Asta you are gonna be mad because you dad is Dante Lictia said.
At this Asta froze he was in shock at what he had just heard and couldn't believe it inside he was absolutely pissed but didn't want to blow up on his mom so he did the next best thing and he laughed?
He laughed as he kept on laughing starting to scare Lictia a little bit she just waited till he was done.
"Oh that's funny oh god life just loved to keep kicking me while I'm down Asta said before he again started to laugh but this time tears started to come out of his eyes and his laughter turned into sobbing as he finally cried after three years of bottling everything up.
