The rage of a hurt devil

Chapter 25 Captian Yami Sukihero

Yami and Dante stared off at each other. Yami on the ground and Dante floating in the sky. Both knew a fight was about to happen and both knew how it would end.

"So are we just gonna stare at each other and jack off or are we gonna fight Yami said.

Dante didn't say anything and just started throwing rocks at Yami who activated his mana zone and began dodging. While moving forward He sent lightless slashes towards Dante who dodged it. Yami then got behind Dante and slashed his back cutting it open which Dante repaired with his body magic instantly. Yami jumped back avoiding a backhand from Dante. Dante refocused and grabbed the bodies of the dead bandits and started hurling them towards Yami as he dodged out of the way. Dante using this distraction hit Yami with a Boulder sending him flying back slamming him into the ground. Yami quickly got up avoiding another Boulder that was sent towards him activating his mana zone again flying towards Dante and swinging his sword down on Dante's hand splitting it in half down the middle. Dante reacted by punching Yami in the face forcing his left eye to shut. Yami tried to open it but found that he couldn't so he was only down to one eye. Dante then repaired the arm that was split in half causing Yami to back up before slashing across Dante's chest which healed up again.

"You must realize how useless this is I can heal while you can't although you have made me have to raise my power to the max Dante said.

"Oh yippee does that mean I get a prize Yami asked sarcastically.

"Why yes it does you see we devil posses don't really get a chance to go all out so it's a breath of fresh air when we do so I'll let you in on a little secret Dante said.

"And that is Yami asked.

"My you're impatient anyways we can only use 80 percent of the devils power the rest comes from our own Dante said.

"Huh so what you're saying is that you're a little bitch without the devil then interesting Yami said.

Dante didn't say anything except just glared at Yami then grinned like a madman when a dark shadow went over Yami.

Yami's eyes widened when he looked up the see a giant boulder bowering right above him. Yami thinking quickly and somewhat out of panic used dimension slash to cut through the boulder splitting it in half as he then started running alongside it. He ran alongside the boulder as it was falling to the ground and leaped at Dante who couldn't react fast enough as Yami stabbed Dante who stopped floating with both of them falling towards the ground. Yami quickly got off of Dante taking his sword out of him(phrasing). Yami was then pelted by trees and rocks. One piece of bark from the tree embedded itself in Yami's gut causing the man to drop to one knee and dropping his sword.

"Oh would you look at that the legendary Yami Sukihero kneeling Dante said.

"Do you ever shut up Yami said as he tore the bark from his side.

They both charged at each other again each wanting to end the fight with Yami slashing at Dante faster than he can heal and Dante using his gravity to add more weight to his punches. Both were getting worn down especially Yami. You see he wasn't healing from any of this while Dante was making this fight difficult for Yami but he still kept going. Because the difference between Yami and Dante is that Yami had something to fight for while Dante didn't. Yami didn't want to die he still had so much he wanted to do yet he knew when it came down to it he wouldn't have a choice. So as the punches grew heavier and heavier Yami summoned what remaining strength he had left and did a final attack.

"Dark magic Dimension slash equinox Yami said as he slashed across Dante's chest.

That final attack seemed to work as Dante fell limp and hit the ground not moving with Yami breathing heavily. Yami the started to search Dante's body and found a journal. He opened the journal and it only had two words.

Yami didn't have enough time to react as he felt multiple sharp objects enter into his body. His eyes widened from shock and the pain as he was thrown to a tree.

"You said you could take care of him how pathetic Zenon said as he picked up Dante's body and teleported away.

Yami sat there back against the tree breathing heavily as he was slowly bleeding out.

"We'll I guess this is the end for ol captain Yami he thought.

Yami moved his finger up to one of his stab wounds and smeared some blood on it and began to write a message.

"I guess I have to hang up my sword now wonder if Asta will take it Yami chuckled. Knowing him he's gonna be pissed but he'll get over it. I think I'm gonna rest my eyes now.

"Yami Yami can you hear me a panicked William said.

"Asta I leave the rest to you now make me proud kid Yami said as he drew his last breath.

Asta is seen just finishing training with Noelle as the two are heading back inside for dinner. As they were walking Asta felt a hand touch his shoulder. Asta turned around and saw no one there but he had a confused look in his eyes.

"Asta you ok Noelle asked.

"Yeah I'm fine must've just been the wind Asta responded as he continued to walk with Noelle.

Back with William he started at Yami's lifeless body propped up against a tree his eyes closed with a peaceful look on his face. William looked sadly at the body of one of his oldest friends then look next to him in the dirt road seeing a message written in blood. The message read

THEY CAN ONLY USE 80 PERCENT.

William seeing this information smiled sadly knowing his best friend last act was handing over a piece of information that could help win the war.

And that's the end of this chapter I know it's short and it took a while to come out but I had no idea how to write this so this is what I got cause I didn't want to keep you waiting any longer anyway school starts up soon so updates are gonna be slower anyway bye now leave feedback
