Vanessa walked into the black bulls base saddened by Yami leaving. She knew he could take care of himself but she has this gut feeling that something bad was going to happen and that's what made her worried. As she walked in however she saw that the only person there was Asta was a bottle of wine on the table and a empty chair in front of him. Asta didn't turn around but he spoke.
"Nice to know you're back take a seat and drink with me to ease your worries he said.
"Asta I just got back from drinking Vanessa said.
"Hasn't stopped you from having more before come on I can sense you need this Asta said.
Reluctantly Vanessa did what he said and sat down in front of him and grabbed a glass.
"So I take it you're worried about Yami Asta asked.
"I am but I know he'll come back Vanessa said.
"And how so Asta asked.
"Cause he bet on himself not coming back Vanessa said smirking.
"Huh so he's using his bad luck at gambling to make it back sounds like something he'd do Asta said.
"That fool trying to act all cool I won't let him do that when he comes back Vanessa said.
"Well you two would make an infesting couple can't wait to see where that'll go just no kids till the war is over Asta said.
"Same goes for you and Noelle Vanessa replied.
"Shut up Asta said turning away.
Yami is near the outskirts of the kingdom flying on his broom heading towards the bandit camp. He was getting close soon he would have to disembark and hide in one of the trees so he could observe the camp like he was instructed to. He needed to see if these bandits were working with the dark triad or not either way the bandits are gonna die. He saw the camp in the distance and disembarked his broom and hopped into a tree to observe.
"Now we sit and wait Yami thought.
So Yami observed the bandits for hours and nothing happened until a conversation caught his interest.
"So when are we gonna get that shipment from our employers.
"Whenever they're ready but should be in a couple of hours.
"Why are we even trusting nobles from the spade anyway I say we just kill them next time they come here.
"Shhh keep your voice down don't be stupid there's no way we'd be able to kill them rumor has it they're devil possessed.
"Psssh those are just rumors there's no way devils don't exist.
"What about the devil of clover then what about him.
"Him I could take him easily he's just some no magic kid it'll be easy to kill.
"But I heard he took out one of our groups in the west completely slaughtered the lot of them.
"HEY GET BACK TO WORK YOU TWO.
"Shit boss is pissed.
"Hmmm so they are working with the dark triad and they're expecting a shipment interesting well guess I better deal with them before the dark triad gets here Yami thought as he jumped out of his tree.
Yami being the badass he is just simply walked into the middle of the bandit camp.
"Alright you little shits come out here so I can kill you Yami shouted.
The bandits confused by this walked out of their tents and saw Yami standing there.
"Well well well look at what we have here a magic knight and from the black bulls no less this should be easy one of the bandit said.
"We'll come and try your luck then Yami said readying his katana.
The bandits charged at Yami and a battle ensued. Yami took out two with lightless slashes stabbed one used more lightless slashes to kill 12 of them. Blocked a sword from one kicked him then cut his throat open. Dodged some fire balls and sent another lightless slash killing the fire ball users tearing down some tents. Jumped over some ice shards and sent more lightless slashes killing another five bandits. After that only 10 remained all looking terrified while Yami simply brushed some dirt off his shoulder. The bandits charged at him and with one final lightless slash killed the rest of them.
"Well that was easy Yami thought.
"Oh would you look at that my pawns died a voice said.
Yami immediately turned around saw Dante floating there.
"Looks like we meet again line head time for a rematch Yami said getting ready to fight again.
And that's the end I know it's short but I'm busy and wanted to get this out till next time peace
