Part 8: The Date

I woke up the next morning in Sam's arms. He must have already been awake, cause I felt him playing with my hair, but once I started moving he stopped.

Sam- sorry, did I wake you?
Emily- no, it's ok. And don't stop playing with my hair, I liked it
Sam- *chuckle* ok

He continued to play with my hair, and I looked at my phone and saw that it was 8:45 am. No one else was awake, so I decided to just go back to sleep. I snuggled my head into Sam's neck, and closed my eyes, soon after falling asleep.

Sam's POV

Emily ended up falling back asleep after I started playing with her hair. Nobody else was awake, so I was just lying down with her in my arms, and I was playing with her hair. She looked so cute when she was sleeping... not to be creepy or anything. Anyway, a few minutes later I heard someone walking downstairs, which I assumed was my mom, and I assumed correctly.

Sam- hey mom
Elizabeth- hey sweetie. It looks like someone thinks your comfy
Sam- *chuckle* yeah, she couldn't fall asleep last night so I told her we could cuddle, and that seemed to help cause she fell asleep pretty quickly.
Elizabeth- you really like her, don't you?
Sam- yeah, I think I'm in love with her...
Watson- well, have you told her that?
Sam- no. We've told each other that we loved each other before, but it's different now, especially cause we're on 'more than friends' terms right now.
Elizabeth- well, you have your date tonight, maybe tell her what you feel there
Sam- yeah, maybe
Watson- where are you taking her?
Sam- the beach, for a picnic kind of thing. I talked to her a couple days ago, and I asked if I were to take her out where would she want to go, and she said the beach. I'm taking her around sunset, so it would be really pretty
Charlie- you've really thought about it haven't you?
Sam- how long were you awake?
Charlie- once you said you think that you're in love with her
Elizabeth- don't make fun of him Charlie
Sam- he can't anyway. He has someone wrapped in his arms to *smirk*
Charlie- I wouldn't make fun of him anyway.
Sam- so, you gonna ask her out?
Charlie- maybe, I don't know yet though
Watson- I think you should
Kristy- think he should what?
Charlie- ok, before we keep talking, who's awake right now?

Mostly everyone raised their hands, except for Amybeth, Emily, and Avi.

Sam- so you've just been listening to what we were saying.
Everyone- yeah
Charlie- I hate you all seriously
Avi- I feel offended
Charlie- how long were you awake?
Avi- just to hear that you hate us all
Charlie- well I don't hate you, Amy or Emily, you guys were the only ones sleeping
Amybeth- well than I'm good
Stacey- is Emily the only one still sleeping?
Sam- yeah. She had a rough night last night, so I cuddled her and she fell asleep. She woke up earlier, but then she fell back asleep cause nobody else was awake

Everyone started talking a bit, and a few minutes later I could feel Emily starting to wake up.

Sam- *whisper* hi cupcake
Emily- *whisper* hi
Sam- you know what today is?
Emily- mhm *smiling*
Claudia- is she up?
Sam- yea
Stacey- come on, you need to get up, eat something, and we need to plan on what your gonna wear for this
Emily- but it's only 10:30
Malina- and you need to be ready by at least 5:30 to be downstairs at 5:45
Emily- but I don't need 7 hours to get ready
Kitana- you don't, but we do. Now get up
Emily- *groan* ugh fine
Sam- have fun
Emily- *sarcastic* haha very funny
