I move back to look at him, my tummy is full of butterflies.

This is crazy. Today I had my first real kiss, in front of everyone, videoed, with my brothers best friend, my best friend. The guy who's always been here for me, with everything in my life I've always known I can depend on Ryder.

I can trust him. I know that, it's Ry? My Italian, handsome, caring friend... do I want more now? Now I know he likes me? I now I know how good his lips feel on mine? How he makes me feel so alive?

Is that what I want? Yes.
Am I naive? I hope not.

"Ryder..." I whisper, his hand moves up to gently stroke my face.

"Bella, just give me a shot. Please? If you don't wanna tell Will or anyone, it's ok, for now we can keep it our own little secret if you want? I just wanna show you I can make you happy Isobel."

His words aren't necessary, I know what I want. Damn doesn't hurt to hear though.

"Yes." I whisper. However much I want to say I can't, I feel full of emotions.

His smile goes so wide, I giggle as his eyes even go thin with his smile so big. Those beautiful green eyes barely visible.

"Thank you Bella... thank you," he kisses my forehead and I cuddle into him tightly.

"I'll never hurt you Bella, you know that right?"

I nod. I trust him. My heartbeat can be heard in my ears it's going so fast.

"We'll go at your speed, whatever you want from me I'll do it. You wanna tell the world, I'm more than happy with that," he smiles widely.

This is just all too much to take in right now. Wow sexy Ry wants me, me?

"But you want it just to be us until you're comfortable, I'm happy too. Long as I have you Bella."

He's always been sweet, when we're in bed like this, soft talking, calming me, talking about our day, talking about anything. From how our day has been to serious things, like Lola...

I just smile to him. A yawn takes over my body and he kisses the top of my head. He usually does that, it's not new. It's nice. This kiss was slower, I felt it more. Maybe that's just psychological because I know what it means now. It means more.

"Goodnight beautiful girlfriend," his deep voice says to me, I lie my head on his chest. His heartbeat is crazy fast.
That because of me? Mine is mad fast too.. wow...

"Goodnight Ry." I whisper with a smile.

"Buona notte il mio amore."

I know amore is love, he actually says it quite a bit.. I can't believe I've just shrugged that off before just as if he's a caring friend?

He actually really likes me doesn't he?

Ryder PoV

I wake with a happiness and a lightness in my chest I haven't felt in the longest time.

I finally told my girl how I feel and she's finally my girlfriend!

I look down to her sleeping body wrapped up in my arms. I'm spooning her from behind, she's so peaceful and perfect.

I've wanted this for so long.

Not holding her, I already have that. Since Lola went missing I've been right here for her.
