Sixteen

Ryder PoV

I'm nervous. Can't hide that I'm very happy right now, but, I am nervous too.

I'm practically vibrating when I bounce into the Spice household.

"Alright Ry," Will smirks at me and I instantly can tell there's a story behind his smile.

"Spill Will," I chuckle and he joins in making his coffee.

I'm glad he's got something for us to talk about, I'm sure my ridiculous good mood would make him pester me to tell him what's up.

"Mate..." he does a low whistle and shakes his head. I raise an eyebrow, he chuckles and bites his bottom lip in his mouth.

He doesn't elaborate.

What's going on?

His smile must be almost rivalling mine. Almost.

"Will? You speechless?" I joke and he turns to the fridge for the milk, returning with a smug smile.

"Ohhhh... you got lucky last night?" I ask punching his arm playfully. "Nice. Who?" I ask and he frowns at me, still smiling.

I lean back on the counter as he makes us coffees and two more cups... Izzy (my Bella) and her mum? She home?

"Maaaaaate... c'mon... it's not all about sex..." he shakes his head and I burst out laughing.

"Oh right, since when with you?" I joke and he shakes his head turning to lean back on the counter next to me.

"So, Sarah stayed in my room last night," he finally admits and I nod slowly along as he continues. How did I forget Sarah was here? I don't think my Bella remembered either? Uh oh.

"Nothing... physical.. just, y'know," he shrugs. It's so strange as he usually wouldn't be holding back. Shit he's getting heat rash too..

"Oh maaaaaate, you like her don't you," I ask and he rolls his eyes sipping his drink.

"It's alright, I can see you and Sarah together, I like it." I admit and lift my cup to sip cautiously.

Sarah and Will... me and Bella... my mind is already thinking of how much this benefits us all.

"What?" He frowns.

"You and Sarah," I blink likes it's obvious what I'm saying here?

"What? You think I want a girlfriend?" He jokes with a dry laugh.

Why's he denying this? I can clearly see he likes her? I mean, he's got heat rash up his neck, his doing his nervous trait of stepping from one foot to the next. I'm confused?

"Uh, Sarah isn't like other girls Will, she's your sisters best friend, don't mess about with her." I offer honestly and he just brushes it off.

I realise what I'm saying, I am his best friend, dating his sister. It isn't lost on me the irony of my lecture.

"She's a good kisser," he sips his coffee with a smile.

What am I to do with him...

The door of my girlfriends bedroom opens and her, I stare eagerly awaiting her to come into view.

She walks out confidently in a navy T-shirt dress up to her mid thigh. Her creamy beautiful skin... I know how soft that feels... I can feel myself getting turned on thinking about her.

I look up to her and see she's smirking at me and I wink at her lifting my hand up to my mouth to hide my smile before it gives me away.

She walks over to me, flicking her hair behind her shoulder and sitting at the breakfast bar facing me.

Oh and Will... and Sarah's also sitting next to my girl... I tend to block out other people when it comes to her. She gets my undivided attention.

She lifts her phone and hints with her eyes for me to check mine. She bites her finger all teasingly. What's this girl doing to me?

I pull my iPhone out and see her messages.

Bella: Hello boyfriend. How are you doing on this perfectly fine Saturday?

This makes my heart completely soar. This is how I hoped we could be! She wants to make a good go at this. I just want to rush over to her and hold her close. She makes me so happy! Fuck!

Bella: o & I forgot our besties last night. Seems they got on very well... has Will told you the same? Wondering what he wants from Sare?

I don't want to tell her Wills being a sod. Not by message. I'm actually surprised she forgot Sarah like I did. Sarah was going to be sleeping in Izzys room, obviously she didn't thank god. She could of caught me in her room so easy.

Bella does lock her door, but, still.

I've been watching her make small talk with the others while checking out her phone. I reply eagerly once I work out my response.

Ryder: You look beautiful as ever Bella. I don't think I've seen this dress before? I like it. Would you like to still go on a date with me today? Yeh Will told me, no offence but my best mates an ass, he likes Sarah but isn't ready to admit it. Unlike me- when do you wanna tell them? No pressure, at all Tesoro xxx

I'm prepared to send it. I press send and watch her reaction as she reads it, rolling her bottom lip in her fingers, something she does when she's thinking, I love it. I really love these cute traits she has.

"Ry?" Will mutters next to me and I peel my eyes from Bella.

"I asked if you wanna train today?" He asks while downing the last of his coffee.

"What? No I'm taking Bella for her date today." I tell him obviously and look to Bella who's smiling behind her cup, "aren't I?" I wink to her and she nods with her mouth full of tea.

"Oh yeh, forgot," he nods walking around the kitchen island towards the girls, "have fun. What you doing today Sarah if Izzy here is forced to spend her day with Ry?" He looks at her and I'm so sure he likes her.

She turns to face him and I can clearly see she likes him.

"No plans, if you wanna spend it together?" She's flirting, I feel my phone vibrate.

Bella: I'm all yours when you want me Ry xx

I smile widely to her and walk to her, "c'mon Bella, you ready?" I ask she smiles knowingly to me.

"You know it, lets go!" Her wide smile gives me butterflies, she stands from her stool and hugs Sarah.

"Have fun you two!" Sarah giggles as we get our shoes on to go.

"Don't chat up girls in front of my sister, and no funny business!" Will shouts as we leave.

As soon as the front door closes I grab her hand and kiss the back of her hand, she giggles and I pull her close as we walk to my car.

"Missed you," I tell her honestly and she surprises me by saying it back without missing a beat, "missed you too Ry."

I smile widely as I open my car door to let her in the passenger seat. She sits down but doesn't turn to get her legs in. I wait and she pulls my hand, I move close and she moves closer to me. Her eyes on my lips.

She reaches her mouth up to mine, tilting her head. I smile widely and kiss her softly on her perfect mouth.

"I could get use to this..." she tells me softly and we laugh.

Fuck I'm so lucky.
