Chapter 5

After a few seconds you heard an explosion before Loki came up to you. He stood beside you as Stark came down onto his suit launch pad. You both watched as Tony suit was taken off of him as he stared you both down.

Loki then grabbed your arm as he walked inside, keeping an eye on Tony at all times.

"Please tell me your going to appeal to my humanity," Loki said as he then let go of your arm. You walked to the side of the room next to the giant windows and watched the scene unfold.

"Actually I am planning to threaten you, and rescue her," Tony as as he looked over at you.

"You should have left your armor on for that," Loki said as he walked closer to Tony as he walked down some stairs.

"Yea, seen a bit of mileage and you got the uh, glow stick of destiny," Tony said as Loki looked down at the staff with a smile. "Do you want a drink?"

"Stalling me won't change anything," Loki said. You just listened closely as you heard something ticking. It wasn't a bomb, more like a machine at work in the wall at the far end of the room.

"No, no, threatening, and saving, no drink your sure," Tony said as he went behind a bar to grab a drink.

"The Chitauri are coming, nothing will change that, what have I to fear?" Loki asked Tony as he walked over to the window you stood by before looking back at him.

"The Avengers," Tony said as Loki gave him a confused look. "It's what we call ourselves, sort of like a team, earth's mightiest heroes type thing."

"Yes we've met them," Loki said as he turned to you and then back to Tony.

"Yea, takes us a while to get any traction I'll give you that one, but let's do a head count here, your brother the Demi god, a super soldier a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend, a man with breathing anger management issues, a couple of master assassins, and you big fella. You've managed to piss off every single one of em. You even kidnapped what would have been the shapeshifter of the group," Tony said making you look up at him with a confused look.

"That was the plan," Loki said with a smile as he paced back and forth.

"Not a great plan, when they come and they will, they'll come for you," Tony said as he walked down some stairs.

"I have an army," Loki said.

"We have a hulk," Tony fired back.

"Oh I thought the beast had wondered off," Loki said as you heard the ticking get louder as Tony got closer to Loki and you.

"Your missing the point, there's no throne, there's no version of this where you come out on top, maybe your army comes and maybe it's to much for us but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect the earth you'll be damn well sure we'll avenge it." Tony said before taking a sip of his drink as Loki started to get closer and closer to him.

"How will your friends have time for me, when their so busy fighting you," Loki said before he placed his staff on Tony's chest making a clanking sound. He looked down at it confused before trying again. You looked over at them horrified as the ticking started to get louder.

"This usually works," Loki said.

"Well performance issues, not uncommon, one out of five-." Loki cut Tony off as he grabbed him by the throat and tossed him to the ground next to your feet. You looked down at Stark with a mixed expression.

"Jarvis anytime now," Tony said as he got up before Loki grabbed him again.

"You'll all fall before me," Loki said before lifting Tony up into the air.

"Deploy," Tony said which made a door open from the other side of the room where you heard the ticking. Loki then threw Tony out of the window with him missing you by only a few inches. You then looked back over at the machine about to take off.

"Loki watch out," you said as you pushed Loki out of the way. The machine hit you instead of him, knocking you out of the window as well. You screamed as the machine raced ahead of you and enclosed itself around Tony. When the suit fully enclosed him he flew back up to you and caught you.

"Sorry, L/n, but you'll have to sit this one out," Tony said as his suit made hand cuffs that enclosed around your wrists. He then dropped you off on the ground before flying back up to Loki.

You watched from a distance as Tony flew back up to the floor Loki was on and shoot a beam at him.

"Shit," you said under your breath before looking down at the cuffs. Then a blue beam shot into the sky making everyone look up to see what was going on. People gasped as a portal in the sky opened before ships started coming down from it.

You pulled against the restraints before you knew the only option was for you to shift.

"Everyone get back and get to a safe place," you yelled among the crowd. They all scattered as more and more aliens started to rain from the sky. Then they attacked and started shooting at civilians and destroying everything. You had not other choice.

You screamed in agony as your body started to shift and your hands slowly turned to paws. The restrains broke as you grew to a wolf two times the size of a regular. You howled deep and loud so that seemingly everyone in the city could hear it.
