After you woke the next day, Lucifer was still asleep. The pain in your side was still there but not as bad as what it was last night.
"You wanna talk now?" You heard him before he sat up.
"Why?" You asked as you slumped back into bed and threw the covers over your face.
"Because, my fiancé was hurt and I want to know what happened and how much I messed up," he said as he sank back into bed with you.
"I didn't know," you said softly.
"That you were pregnant?" He asked. You hummed as a yes before peering out from the covers.
"Why would you feel remorse for something that was an accident?" He asked in a carefully tone.
"Because I'm with you now and what if I didn't miscarry that baby and it was Loki's and then we would have never known," you said as you hid your face again.
"Why are you hiding, I'm not mad," he said.
"I don't care if you're mad or not... I just didn't want you to feel..."
"Like you didn't care?"
You hummed as a response again as Lucifer gently pulled you closer to his body.
"The baby was Loki's, and I have a bad feeling he knows now," you said with a single tear.
"Who cares if he does or not, he is going to have a baby with that elf, he shouldn't worry about if you are going to have his children," Lucifer said with a bit more aggression in his tone. After he said that it was quiet for a while.
"Lucifer?" You asked him quietly. He hummed as he looked down at you before burying his face into the crook of your neck.
"Do you want kids?" You asked him with a hesitant tone.
"Depends, babies are cute, then they get anger issues, then they become a little sweet, then they become neutral, then you have the whole teenager thing, then before you know it you're a grandparent and I'm to young to be a grandparent," he said.
"You're 28," you said.
"And you're 24, I'm not going to make you have kids until you are absolutely sure you want them. We have a thousand years," he said tiredly.
"Maybe after things calm down?" You asked. He stayed silent for a bit.
"Y/n, I'm sorry," he said softly.
"About what?" You asked him.
"Did I cause you to lose the baby?" He asked, looking up at you.
"N-no... I don't think so," you said calmly. "But that doesn't matter."
"Do you want a baby, is that why you asked me?" He asked suddenly.
"Maybe, like you said though, 24... I have... better things to do and worry about," you said hesitantly. You knew the correct answer to his question though. Even though you liked being independent and everything, have a carrier, and help your pack, you always liked the thought of having a baby. Not the birthing part but everything else seemed kind of nice.
"I know one thing is for sure though, Edna wants you to have a baby, that's all she talks about on the phone," he said. You giggled lightly before closing your eyes again.
"Do we have to do anything today?" You asked.
"Nothing that requires us to leave the building, I'll need to follow up on some stuff that I missed while we were gone. You can call your Beta and ask how your pack is doing and how the moving process is going," he explained before slowly and carefully letting you go and slipping out of bed. You groaned before gently sitting up.
