You sighed before handing the paper back to Loki. He looked at you confused before he noticed you starting to shift. When you did you sniffed around the tracks to see if they were as fresh as you thought.
"Only a few hours old," you said. Loki just gaped.
"You can talk?" He asked you as you continued to sniff around.
"I've been practicing," you said before looking around. The lab was on a mountain so you could see all around.
"You got a wolf form?" You asked him as you turned back to him. He smiled before a green shimmer ran over his body turning him into a pure black wolf with green eyes.

His wolf form was slimmer and taller than yours as you turned away from him and looked around.
"These tracks go down the mountain a ways into the woods, it could be a trap," Loki said as he looked at where the tracks led. You hummed in agreement before howling. Everyone that was inside came out to see what was wrong.
"We got something, come on," you told them before you trotted off down the mountain with Loki following you.
"Is that Loki?" Clint asked everyone as they just shrugged in confusion before following you both.
You both then ran down the mountain a little ways until you reached the woods. You continued to follow the tracks when you heard a twig crack. You spun around to see eyes deep into the forest. Very wolf like eyes. You growled as Loki did the same. Then the figure came forward. It was a white wolf, that looked very translucent. You realized she was a spirit and stopped.
She tilted her head to the side as of to say follow me before running in a completely different direction of the tracks. You didn't care though as you ran after her.
"Mk, wait, the tracks don't go that way," Loki said as he ran after you.
"She's a spirit wolf, I have to follow her," you said as you sped up to catch her.
After a while of running she vanished into thin air as you spun around trying to find her. Loki caught up and panted as he looked around as well. You were on a cliff edge at the end of the mountain as you looked down into the valley below. You then seen three Jeep's and a van going down the mountain pass.
"That's them," you said before you bowled loudly for all the others to hear. Even though they knew where you were going because of the tracker that was on your bracelet. You both then took off down the mountain after the vehicles as a few helicopters flew overhead. You weaved through trees and jumped over logs as you both caught up with them. Then a shot was fired as it grazed your shoulder. Silver bullets. You started weaving back and forth before you jumped on top of the Jeep and grabbed the gun from the man.
You threw it down before jumping onto the hood and smashing through the windshield. You grabbed the driver before throwing him out of the car. You then jumped off of the Jeep and onto the van before it crashed.
You did the same thing until you got shot in the side with another silver bullet, making you fall off the Jeep and into the ground. Loki immediately jumped into the side of the car and ripped the door off before grabbing the guy out of the car and throwing him to the ground.
The van stopped as you shifted back, a suit enclosing your body as you walked up to one of the dead guys and stole a grenade off of him before taking the ring off and throwing it into the van filled with research.
You flew backwards a ways as the rest of the team rushed to your side along with Loki. None of them knowing you were the one who destroyed the van. You didn't know what was in it but you could have only guessed it was the serum those people were making. You blacked out after that, the blurry visions of what happened before flashing before your eyes.
You slept for a while after that, you had two bullet wounds and a mild concussion so you were bound to be a little sleepy. You were kept in the medical floor of the tower, or basically just the lab as you healed. Loki stayed by your side the entire time as well, worried that the only person who actually accepted him for who he was, only person who he could relate to was hurt or dying.
As the end of the second day of you being unconscious concluded you started to flutter your eyes open. You groaned as you felt a sharp pain in your side as you tired to sit up.
Loki immediately jumped up from his chair in the corner of the room and walked over to you.
"Hi," you said with a cracking voice.
"Hi, darling," Loki said with a smile. You smiled back before Tony and Bruce walked in.
"Hey, Jacob, have a nice nap," Tony asked you with a smirk.
"Oh, please, not Twilight nicknames," you said before chuckling. He smiled before they both started to check your vitals.
"Your body is almost completely healed, Mk, you just need more rest," Bruce said before glancing over at Loki before looking back down at you.
"Thanks," you said before he lifted your arm up and started to take the tube out of your arm.
You leaned forward once it was out and a wave of blurry vision hit. You fluttered your eyes before looking over at Loki who had a concerned look on his face. He helped you off of the hospital bed as you started to walk with a little bit of a limp. They all followed you out before Bruce and Tony went back to working in the lab. Leaving you both to walk to your room so you could change and rest.
When you got to your room Loki waited in your desk chair as you picked out some clothes before going into the bathroom to shower and change.
While you were showering though you noticed the still reddish wound on your side that was going to leave a scar. You sighed as you gently ran your fingers over the sensitive skin before going back to showering.
When you were done and you felt clean again you walked out and limped over to your bed. You plopped down on your bed before hissing in pain as you had moved to fast. You leaned back forward as Loki walked over to your bed side and sat down next to you.
"You need to rest, and not hurt yourself any further, alright darling," Loki said as you laid back down. You nodded before he leaned over and kissed your forehead gently. He then stood up and walked over to your bedroom door.
"I'll be back later, I'm afraid the Avengers need me," he said before opened the door and walking out.
