Loki x Reader - Alphas Not Royals

Chapter 20

As you got off of the jet and walked over to where your new ride was the air stewardess who's name was Lillian, followed you. A fresh werewolf bite on her arm. Let's just say the pilot though you hit turbulence during the flight but it was really you shifting into a werewolf and then shifting back into a human.

She got into the car with you as you noticed her eyes started to change.

"What's going on?" She asked you nervously.

"It's okay, your body is just adjusting to your werewolf side coming into play with your emotions and actions. Just don't shift while in the car," you said which kind of made her a little more nervous.

"It's fine, when we get back to the pack they will help you adjust," you told her before placing your hand on hers. After she calmed a little bit you started to stare out the window at the star filled sky. Tears started to fill your eyes again as you thought of Loki. Sure you weren't with him for long but you loved him and he loved you.

~ Meanwhile on Asgard at dinner ~

"Loki, you didn't tell us about this Mk woman," Frigga said to her son as he walked in with Amethyst. He immediately let go of Amethysts arm before sitting down. Not willing to be gentlemanly towards her and pull her chair for her. She seemed hurt as she pulled out her chair and sat down.

"That was quite rude," Thor told his brother.

"I don't love her, so why act as if I do," Loki hissed before leaning back in his chair refusing to eat.

"Loki," Odin snapped at his son as Amethyst got up with tears in her eyes and walked out calmly.

"You hurt her feelings, you will grow to have affection towards her, I know it," Frigga assured her son.

"You should have seen how hurt Mk was when I had to tell her I was getting married after being away for only two days," Loki said angrily.

"Mk will have to move on, by the sounds of if she has her own responsibilities, and you have yours," Odin said.

"This peace between Alfheim and Asgard wasn't needed, we already had good standings with them and they had good standings with us," Loki argued back. "What's any good preventing a war that has absolutely no possibility of happening," Loki added, using your words from earlier.

Odin, Frigga, and Thor stayed quiet as Loki then started to get up.

"The king of Alfheim was threatening war if we did not offer one of our sons to marry his daughter, Amethyst, if we went to war with them then we wouldn't have gotten some of the goods the people of Asgard needed and we would have most likely starved if we started a war," Odin said as Loki turned back to him.

"So marry this woman, and bare a child with her as a symbol of peace so no blood has to be spilled, and no harm comes to anyone," Odin finished as Loki looked at the floor ashamed.

"Brother, I know you think that Mk would have chosen the bloodier path to keep you two together but this is for the best. Mk...she..." Thor tired to find the right words. "She is strong and with a pack to run she will have to be." Thor finished as he tired to calm his brother.

"You are not my brother," Loki hissed before walking out of the dining hall and out the door.

"I'm sorry Thor," Frigga apologized to her son.

"It's not your fault mother, but he hasn't told me I wasn't his brother since after he met Mk," Thor said before standing up himself and excusing himself. Odin sighed before taking a drink of his ale before sitting there in thought.

"It will be fine, dear. Loki will come around and Amethyst will grow on him like Mk has done," Frigga reassured her husband before they both continued to eat.

~ Back at the pack ~

You walked into the biggest cabin that is used for meetings and gatherings worn Lillian. All of the pack members were having a good time and celebrating. When you arrived they greeted you with smiles and hugs before you went to the front of the room and walked up some steps.

"Everyone, meet Lillian Smith, our newest member of the pack. From now on she is a South Ridge Omega," you shouted with excitedly as everyone clapped, cheered and howled. She walked around the crowd as everyone greeted her and introduced themselves before you noticed on of the younger alpha warriors talking to her. They seemed to really be hitting it off. You smiled softly that she finally seemed happy, sure Tony won't be to happy he lost an employee but surely he won't mind to much.

You all partied and caught up with old pack members some more as the night continued. It was probably well passed 3 a.m. when you got back up in the platform to tell them all to go to bed.

"Pack dismissed, I don't want to see any rough housing anymore, it's time for rest," you told them all as they all groaned before going ahead and listening to what you told them.

Lillian ended up going back to the young warriors cabin which made you kind of cringe that you might be planning a joining ceremony. It's like weddings but with wolves they join because it's their partner forever. You have to be for sure it's the one or you will always carry the mark of being joined even when you aren't together anymore.

After you went to sleep for only three hours you woke up with tired eyes and a exhausted body before getting up. You walked outside after getting ready and dressed to check up on everyone. You patrolled the camp as everyone started to get up to make sure there were no spy's or loners anywhere near the camp. When you got back Amber joined you as you continued to check on everyone.

If anyone had any complaints you fixed them, you arranged hunting parties, patrols for the wider territory around the camp, and had a council meeting with some of the wiser elders.

"The more their pack grows, the more our territory is in danger of being taken. The mountainous regions have always been our home and the dessert and forest areas have always been the Twin Rock pack's home," one of the elders said. You took what he said as another spoke up.

"This new alpha of theirs, he's powerful enough, he has had many talks with your father about joining you two, he doesn't know that your father is dead, and he is expecting a reply," another said making you kind of nervous.

"He's not just powerful, news is that he's rich two meaning he can hire anyone he wants if he wants to kill us off. We can't hire just anyone, our pack has always resorted to the old ways," another elder said.

"Our numbers are just 33 plus the new Omega, they must have over 100 by now," Amber pipped in making your eyes twitch and as you started tapping your fingers.

"Amber, I need you to send two messengers to this alpha," you then told Amber. She looked over at you with an uncertain look.

"What do you want them to say?" She asked you.

"That I will meet him wherever and whenever we wants to NEGOTIATE peace and how we can keep his war from never happening," you told her as she then got up from her chair and went outside.

"Who do you want me to send?" She asked you.

"Send an alpha and an omega, someone to be assertive and confident and someone to keep the peace in case something happens," you told her before getting up yourself to walk around.
