That was all a few months ago and New York was still recovering. You met up with Patty after the attack and you ended up quitting your job at the museum. Patty quit to after you were able to get her into S.H.I.E.L.D agent training after putting in a good word or two with Fury.
After she found out you were a werewolf she still stayed your friend and you appreciated her for that. You had also moved into Stark Tower which was now being renamed to Avengers Tower.
You even dated Steve for a while until Peggy Carter's niece started hanging around. You ended up breaking up with Steve after that, not wanting to find out the hard way if he was cheating on you. Which proved to only hurt you even more since the immediately started dating after that.
It was just a regular day at the Tower. You had just gotten done doing your workout and you were freshening up to get ready to go out on the town. You had been volunteering at various shelters and charities to help the city after the disaster. It also made you feel like you were redeeming yourself after contemplating taking Loki's side.
You hopped into the shower and stood under the warm water as you thought. Loki was very kind to you and seemed like he cared, but if he cared then..... then he would have what?
You stood there, your brain in autopilot for about 10 minutes before Jarvis chimed in.
"Miss Reeves, are you alright?" The AI asked you, snapping you out of your trance.
"Oh, sorry Jarvis, I'm fine," you said before turning the water off and stepping out to get a towel.
"Mr. Stark wants all the Avengers in the common area for a team meeting," Jarvis said. You groaned before grabbing another towel to dry to hair.
"Alright Jarvis, thanks," you replied before walking out into your room to grab an outfit.

After you excited your room and walked down to the living room you were met by Clint. He didn't seem to happy at all.
"What's your deal?" You asked him as you both walked.
"Thor's bringing his psychotic brother back here," Clint said in a sour tone.
"What?!" You asked him in a surprised tone.
"Yea, my thoughts exactly," he said before you both entered the room and there he was. Standing in the common room, not handcuffed, and surprisingly didn't have a mischievous smirk on his face.
You both walked in silently before sitting down on one of the couches.
"Everyone, Loki is going to be staying with us for a while, Odin says that it would be best for him to come back to Midgard and gain redemption for his past mistakes," Thor explained, you ignored them both before looking over at the TV which was played the news channel.
You then turned the volume up as you read the caption that ran across the screen.
"Is Mk Reeves a threat to us all?" Was what it said before an interviewer asked a protester a question.
"What are your thoughts on the new Avenger, Mk Reeves?" The interview asked.
"She is a menace to society and a danger to us all. She has killed people, good people, and for her to do one good deed and be classified as safe is outright stupid. She killed my son, he was just out for a walk when she attacked him and now she is parading around the streets of this city carefree," a woman sobbed with tears streaming down her face. You sat there and stared at the TV screen for a little bit before getting up and leaving.
"Mk...." Natasha said as she thought of words to keep you from walking away before just following after you. Everyone else just sat in the living room as they watched the rest of the interviews, Loki watched with much interest as he took in every word all of them said.
"Monster!"
"Menace!"
"Murderer!"
With every word the protesters said Loki's fist tightened even more, before Bruce turned it off. Everyone stayed quiet for a while before Thor turned to Loki.
"I'll show you to your room, you better not try to escape," Thor said before walking out of the room with a emotionless look. Loki followed reluctantly as Thor gave him a bare minimum tour before they both passed by your room. Natasha was standing outside of it as you had locked yourself inside.
"Is she alright?" Thor asked Natasha. Natasha simply shook her head before knocking again.
"Not letting you in," you said from the other side in a seemingly calm voice when in reality you were crying your eyes out.
"Mk, are you alright, love?" Loki asked you inside your head. He didn't get an answer back.
After Thor left, Loki locked himself in his room while you did the same. As night fell you had calmed down and decided to take a walk around the building.
You were probably an hour into your walk when you were walking back to your room. You were looking down, lost in thought when you bumped into someone. You looked up to apologize when you seen Loki.
"Oh, hi Loki," you said before walking past him.
"Mk...." you stopped to see what he had to say. "I'm sorry, I never wanted for you to get hurt," he said before walking up to you. You shuttered a bit as his hand found it's way to yours.
"Loki.... I need to get some rest, and you probably do to," you said before taking your hand away from his and walking the rest of the way down to your room.
When you closed the door you sat down on your bed before grabbing your covers and laying down.
You thought about Loki's words for a while and thought about his past ones before you finally slipped into a peaceful slumber.
