When Amber came back in the room about an hour later the elder were leaving and probably going to go take a nap after the whole night of partying.

"I have sent them on their way, they have one of the pack vehicles and have two trackers and two cell phones with them," Amber told you before you walked out of the gathering cabin with her. When you did you noticed the hunting party and the patrol had gotten back. They had four elks and a whitetail deer which wasn't a bad hunt. You walked up to them and examined the carcasses.

"Well done, have the Omegas clean these deer and have have the meat cooked for the meal tonight," you told them before walking over to the patrol. They said that they seen a few hunters but they were to far away to worry about them but other than that everything was fine.

"I'm glad to hear it, get some rest," you told them before you told Amber the same thing. She had been working just as hard as you and everyone else in that pack.

When you excused them you wondered over to the children who were playing with face paint, beads and feathers.

"What's going on here?" You asked them before sitting down beside them.

"Playing," one of the boys said before showing off what he made. It was a wolf figure made out of bark, grass, paint, feathers, and beads.

"That's cool," you said before a little girl gave you a wolf daisy. You smiled before putting it in your hair. She smiled before you were bombarded with other children trying to braid your hair and put feathers, beads, and flowers in them. You played along and when they were finished they went on to play as you were left with pretty gnarly hair and your thoughts.

It was nearing the end of the day so you decidedly go change before the feast you were going to hold. It was going to be a random little feast not something that was going to happen all the time but just something to enjoy.

When it was finally time you all gathered in the big cabin that was now set up for the feast. As you all started eating the rest of the pack stated how it had been a while since they had participated in a pack feast. Especially the elders who hadn't been to one in probably 100 years or more. They also traded stories of life before settlers came to America and how they were once the biggest and most power pack in all of North America. Now you're dwindling in numbers and having to negotiate with enemies so they won't kill you all.

After the feast was done you went back to your cabin and changed before going to sleep. You however felt alone and unprotected, which wasn't a usual feeling for an alpha. You couldn't deny it, you missed Loki, and you felt alone and unloved. You sat up in bed with your knees to your face and silently cried. You had been doing a lot of that lately. When nobody was around you would just shed a few tears in completely and utter silence.

As it started to get further and further into the night you slowly drifted off to sleep only to be tormented you nightmares and the thoughts of Loki getting married even though it was just a few weeks ago you were both happy and peaceful. Oh how you've grown to hate that word, peace. There is no such thing as peace, there will always be conflict, and the only way out of conflict is compromise, not peace.

~ Back on Asgard at the Bifrost ~

"Loki, why have you come here?" Heimdall asked the god as he walked up to him.

"I need to ask you something," Loki said as Heimdall's eyes began to glow.

"Yes, she is safe, she's been crying though, not sleeping, and when she does it's filled with nightmares, with no one to help take them away," Heimdall said as he walked over to his place at the center of the room before returning the sword to its hold.

Loki stood there taking in his words before Heimdall turned to him again.

"Her pack faces the possibility of war, a war they will most definitely loose, and she thinks the only way out of the conflict is compromise, not peace," Heimdall said as Loki took a deep breath.

"Who threatens them?" Loki asked him.

"The alpha of the Twin Rocks pack, Lucifer Morningstar (I know in the show he's a fallen angel but in this fanfic he's a werewolf so go along with it) powerful, selfish, but he does what is right for his pack and his pack is ever growing," Heimdall explained.

"What does he want from her?" Loki asked him.

"Their territory... and her," Heimdall said being cautious about his final two words. Loki's anger began to boil up as he then stroke across the dome and started off down the rainbow bridge again. Retched werewolf scum trying to take what is his.

~ Back on Earth at Los Angeles ~

The two messengers you sent to California, more specifically Los Angeles had arrived after none stop driving, only stopping to get gas or eat food. They were extremely tired and fatigued and when they got to address that was found in your fathers cabin from when he visited last they were greeted by two guards.

"State your business and names," the guard said.

"We are messengers from South Ridge pack, the new alpha Mk Reeves sent us," the alpha said to the guards.

"Very well, what is the message and we will deliver it to our alpha," the other guard said.

"She said that she is willing to negotiate peace anywhere at anytime, after her fathers intended death she has now taken the responsibility as alpha," the omega told the guards before slinking back into their seat shyly.

"We need the phone number of your alpha to continue this transaction," one of the guards said. After the omega wrote it down he shakily handed it over to the guard who snatched it away from him.

"Alright you may leave," the guards told them before they backed up and left the address to head back home.

One of the guards then walked inside the gates, into the building and used the elevator to get to the top of the building that was all owned by this alpha. When he got to the room he was looking for he knocked a few times.

"Come in," a voice said from the other side as a very tired Lucifer sat as he stared out the window with a glass of whisky in hand. "What is it?" Lucifer then snapped after the guard was quiet for to long.

"The South Ridge pack has a new alpha, Mk Reeves," the guard told him as Lucifer turned to him, intrigued.

"Go on," Lucifer said as he started to pace back and forth.

"She says after he fathers intended death she is willing to negotiate peace anywhere at anytime," the guard said before handing Lucifer the peace of paper with your phone number on it.

"A bit cliché isn't it," Lucifer said under his breath as he examined the number. "Alright you are dismissed," he then said before the guard walked out to leave Lucifer alone with his thoughts.

(🙂 cats out of the bag, Lucifer is the alpha. It's getting good, not for Loki but for you maybe. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day. And if you don't know what Lucifer Morningstar looks like then I'll leave a picture)
