**Just a point; most of my TMNT stories are a mix of TMNT 2012 and the live action movies. This is one of those stories where I mash them together**

Your POV

You took a small step towards him once you heard his bo staff retract. His hazel eyes stared down at you, surprised behind his glasses and purple mask.

"Jesus you're tall now," you nervously laughed as he also took a step towards you. "Donnie I-..." you stopped as he moved quickly towards you and pulled you in for a hug. You squeezed him back just as tightly and he held you like that for a long time.

"You're back," he whispered. You pulled back and gave a smile.

"Yeah. I'm back," then you looked him up and down. "And you're tall. You look great, Donnie," you praised and he gave a smile in return.

Then it finally clicked for him and his eyes went wide.

"Oh my god. You're back! Come on, we gotta tell the others!" He tugged you by the arm down the tunnels to the entrance of the lair.

When you arrived, you stopped at the entrance. It was odd being back here, the comforting smell and feeling of the lair overwhelming your senses. You slowly walked in and looked around. Nothing had changed much; some new equipment scattered around, but other than that it was the same. Except-...

"Wheres the others?" You asked as you glanced around. Donnie smirked and held up a finger.

"You might want to stand behind me," he said, gently moving you behind his shell. Then he yelled out through the lair, "Oh my god guys! Get out here! There's someone in the lair!!"

"What?!" You heard voices yell from multiple places and thumping footsteps as they ran to the entrance. The three of them reached you and Donnie at the same time, weapons all drawn in preparation for battle. Donnie quickly grabbed his staff and swept all of their legs while they were distracted and so they wouldn't run into you and Donnie. They all hit the ground, hard, and groaned.

"Donnie you knucklehead. What the shell?" Growled a deep voice.

"Yeah dude. What was that for? I thought this was serio-..." the orange masked turtle caught your eye as he sat up. "Wait a minute."

They all stood up and stood in front of Donnie, Mikey being the only one who saw you yet. You peeked around Donnie's shell to see familiar sapphire eyes looking at you, surprised.

"We have a guest," said Donnie, then he pulled you from behind him and made you stand in front of him, before joining the line of his three brothers.

Before you stood the four massive turtles, much bigger and taller than when you last saw them. You knew immediately who was who by the colour of their masks. Mikey was still the shortest, but was much taller and more muscular than he used to be; an excited look plastered onto his face. Raph was bulking with massive muscles showing on his crossed arms; a surprised and confused look on his face.

And Leo. He was just standing there, his arms hanging limply at his sides, his jaw slackened a little as he stared at you. His blue eyes were piercing in the dim light of the entrance, full of mixed emotions, but most of all happiness. But that glimmer of happiness disappeared as quickly as it came. He was tall and very well built, not as muscular as Raph but sure getting there.

"Umm-... hi?" You said quietly.

"Y/n? Y/n L/n?" Asked Raph. You nodded and gave a small smile.

"Hey guys. It's been a while," and that was all it took for Mikey to come barreling towards you for a bear hug.

"Oh my GOD! It's you! It's been forever! I've missed you so much!" He said as he squeezed you tight. You giggled at his excitement and hugged him back. When he stepped back, Raph took a few cautious steps toward you.

"Raphael. Are you still a hot head?" You asked quietly, proving to him that you were who you said you were. He smirked and gave you a quick hug, unusual emotion showing from the red banded turtle.

"Good to have ya back girly."

Last was Leo. He stood farther behind his brothers, so when Raph stepped back, you looked at him.

"Leo," you whispered. He took a few steps towards you, and you saw Donnie motion for the others to leave. They all disappeared quickly, leaving you and Leo alone.

"You look-... you look good," you finally said. He just stood there, staring at you. You shuffled your feet uncomfortably. "Are you-... are you okay? Do you want me to leave?" He shook his head no. You laughed nervously. "Well-... can you at least say something? I'm dying here."

"I'm sorry." He spoke so softly, his voice deep and smooth, you almost didn't hear it.

"W-wha-..."

"I'm sorry." He said again, taking a step towards you.

Them damn butterflies were starting again. Stop it!

"I didn't know what I was doing. I was so afraid of you getting hurt that I pushed you away, and that hurt you more than anything else could. I was stupid, and selfish, and I kick myself for it every single day since." He looked down. "When you left-... when you moved away-... I felt my heart shatter. And it wasn't because of you. It was because I was so stupid." You just blinked at him.

"Leo-... I-..." you froze on your words.

"When you said that I didn't love you-... that couldn't have been less true. I do love you. And I have loved you every day since the day we met. And you moving away changed nothing for me. I still love you. And I told myself that if I had the chance to do this again, that I needed to take it. And I couldn't mess it up." He looked back up at you and you saw the tear slip down his cheek, feeling tears well up in your own eyes.

"I know that your feelings might have changed. And I don't expect you to feel the same about me-... I just-..." his voice broke. "I don't think I can lose you again," his voice was merely a whisper.

You stared into his blue eyes, noticing now that during his speech you had drifted closer to him and you were now right in front of him, your purse discarded to the floor. You gently touched his forearm, making his eyes widen slightly as he looked at you.

"I love you too Leo." You whispered. "I always have. And that didn't change for me either. And you don't have to worry about losing me. I'm not going anywhere." His teary eyes brightened a little bit.

"W-what?"

"I'm here to stay. I got a new job, so I'm staying here, in New York," you smiled despite the tears. He cupped your cheek gently.

"Does that mean you'll give me a second chance?" He asked. You wiped away the tears from his cheeks and under his blue eyes and nodded.

"Of course."

"And this time, I promise I won't give up."
