(Sick!)Leo x reader- Weekend Plans Interrupted Pt.1

Honestly, I've barely seen any stories where the boys get sick and I had fun writing Leo when he was sick in Stuck in Reality, so I decided to do a story on it. This is an AU where the boys ARE able to get sick, and in my headcannon, Leo gets sick the worst.

longer-than-normal parts cause I wanted to make it as detailed as physically possible, and apparently I'm good at writing people being sick-... who knew😅

You walked into the lair, excited because it was Friday evening. And that meant you got to spend the weekend at the lair with your four favourite people-... turtles-... whatever, you get the point.

But when you walked in, your smile turned to a frown when you heard commotion coming from Donnie's lab. Raph wandered out of the dojo and gave you a wave.

"Oh. Hey there Y/n," he greeted. You crossed your arms and nodded toward the lab.

"What's going on?" You asked and Raph sighed.

"I'm not exactly sure. Don kinda forced Leo into his lab a while ago, and they haven't come out," he said. You frowned and dropped your bag on the couch before following Raph to the lab door. He banged on it and it immediately swung open to reveal a grumpy looking Donnie. His face changed from grumpy to relieved when he saw you though.

"Y/n," he gave a relieved sigh as he greeted you.

"Donnie," you greeted back. He was about to say something before Leo walked past him and didn't even say hi as he shuffled to his room down the hall. You frowned as you watched him slowly leave, then turned to Donnie who shrugged.

"I don't even know. He's been acting odd since yesterday night and was sluggish in training this morning. Raph took him down a minute and a half faster than normal," he said. "I asked if he was feeling alright and he told me he was fine, but I wanted to check him anyway. He insisted he was fine so I never got the chance."

"Okay-..." you said slowly. "So he's having an off day. So what?"

"That's the thing." Donnie said. "Leo doesn't just have 'off days'. He's always on point, all the time." You bit your lip and frowned, now worried for the blue leader, who also just so happened to be your crush, knowing that Donnie was right. Leo never just had an "off day". And if he has been acting odd since last night-...

"I'll see what I can do, try and get him to talk," you offered and Raph and Donnie both gave you relieved looks.

"Thank you, Y/n," said Donnie. You nodded and then glanced between both of them.

"Well, since I'm here for the weekend, you guys wanna watch a movie?"

"SHELL YEAH!" Mikey came out of the kitchen and yelled when he heard you. You turned and he ran into you; giving you a hug and you smiled.

"A movie it is then."

You helped Mikey make popcorn while Raph and Donnie argued over a movie, then you went down the hall, only to run directly into Leo.

"Oh. Hey, Leo," you fought back a blush and he gave a tired smile.

"Hey Y/n." You stood in awkward silence for a moment before you cleared your throat.

"Umm. We're all having a movie night, I was just about to come down and get you. Are you gonna come?," you watched him carefully and he took a moment before nodding and giving another tired smile.

"Sure." You smiled and walked with him back down the hall to where the others were all sitting down to start the movie. You noticed Leo sway on his feet a few times and frowned, your concern growing. Raph gave you a glance when he saw Leo with you.
