His smile was brighter...
His touch... more electric...
The scent of his cologne was stronger than ever...
As he pulled him closer...
In his strong arms...
He felt safer when he could hear his heart beating so close by...
*
Minho laughed heartily, tugging back playfully as Wookyung pulled him along the corridor. "Where are you taking me?" he fussed and Wookyung looked back at him, his face aglow with a new kind of energy, his soft and slender fingers wrapped around his wrist as his hair caught the light like stained glass in a quiet temple. Minho could only smile back at him in awe, unable to fathom how happy he felt here with him.
Everything had returned to its original state. Wookyung was like a puppy, excitedly pulling him by the arm across the tiled floor to a place only he knew about. Minho didn't care about what or where it was, as long as he was leading and holding on to him... he would follow him anywhere. Minho had barely slept the night before, tossing, turning and pushing his face into his pillow to keep himself from yelling out.
To be at his house... to be with him...
He couldn't contain the feeling.
He had to admit it, he felt a touch nervous as Wookyung asked him about the housing and his job and about the money, last night as well as a few minutes ago, but he reckoned that he wasn't doing anything to his detriment. All these efforts were for him to become a better man, someone who could stand shoulder to shoulder with someone like... Cha Wookyung.
This was all about him... if he wished to be in his life, he had to be worthy. So if keeping from him these details that had no real malice behind them, Minho didn't think they would affect them in any way. Once he was able to publish his work starting with the submission of his first chapter, everything would settle down for the better, plus he was anyways planning to move out of Eunyeong's apartment in another week or so. If everything went smoothly, he'd be able to make something of himself in no time.
He'd make Wookyung proud too...
He knew in his heart that Wookyung wished for nothing more than his wellbeing, when he fought those dangerous men on his street, when he brought him medicine and food when he was sick, when he rushed down to his house in worry after he had resigned, when he took action against the unjust Dean... He stood by him when no one else did... he spoke for him when everyone was bent on maligning him.
Cha Wookyung had always been his ally and true companion.
And now they were together. It was a task to have spent a good part of his morning perfecting the dishes he had decided to make for him... getting lost in the maze-like Itaewon to find his address... but he would do this everyday if he could... he wanted to look forward to a happy, healthy Wookyung everyday. It was starting to feel too good to be true but Minho reeled himself in. He wanted to relish every second he spent with him.
They were somewhere in the middle of the hall when Wookyung came to a halt outside a tall door with a wooden panel, "Okay..." he turned to Minho and he gulped as was the immense effect of his amber eyes, reaching around him and gently placing his hand over his eyes. He had switched his glasses out for contacts today, he wanted to look... different... maybe younger. He didn't want them to be a hindrance.
Minho felt his back close up against his behind, his breath tickled his ears "Close your eyes" he said and Minho nodded diligently "Only open them when I say so" Minho put his hands over Wookyung's, hearing the door being slowly pushed open. "Slow and steady" Wookyung began stepping inside, gently nudging Minho's calves to walk along with him. "Wookyung..." Minho suddenly decided to speak
