-- Emma's POV --

Wow. These few days in the hospital wing sick and alone gave me time to think. I came to the conclusion that I'm a sucky friend.

Yup. I mean, I've known Lily for seven years now, and for most of those years she has had the biggest crush ever on Amos Diggory, yet I go out of my way to believe that she likes my boyfriend, who in all truth is nothing like her type.

Then I act like complete idiot, and without even questioning her intentions I start to think that she's showing off for my Mac. I still don't know who she was showing off for, and I make it a point to ask when we talk this over, which I do plan to do by the way. No matter how much I don't want to do it right now.

Moving on, I most stupidly believed all the rumours of our dumb school, that she is dating someone close to her arch enemy like James Potter. And on top of that I think it's okay to go tell her the whole story because she was supposedly dating him.

And then when I finally put it all together and realised I sucked at being a good friend, I sat in the rain, and caught myself a cold.

That pretty much sums up the story till now, leaving out all the sweet visits from Mac, who really is the best boyfriend.

He had all his meals early, just be able to bring me mine, and accompany me while I eat. He took his own class notes twice, once for me and once for him. As for the classes we didn't take together, he went around asking people who were in those classes for their notes so that he could copy them down for me. He came every evening after school ended with flowers, or chocolate, or a small trinket as a way to cheer me up. On top of this all he sent house elves at different times to check on me, with sweet messages from him.

I swear he really is the nicest boyfriend ever. I pulled my robes over my shoulders, as I finally finished summing up my life for the past few days in my head. It was 7:20 The Quidditch practice would have just finished, I can make it to the dorm, pack my bag, and be at the great hall in time to meet them, Lily and Grace.

If I'm lucky I might even be able to squeeze in a small chat with Mac.

For some reason today I feel really calm, and relaxed. Even though I have this huge miss-communication to fix with my friend, I really feel like it's going to work out, and I have nothing to worry about.

I smiled as I left the hospital wing for the first time in days, and the bright blue sky lit up the halls.

-- Grace's POV --

I pulled Lily along with me, as I rushed through the halls to the great hall. "Grace! My foot this kinda hurts you know!" She complained.

"Yeah well when we get there, and see if Emma's fine, then you can sit." I said frustrated."Humph." Lily scoffed, and tugged her hand away.

We had reached the hall entrance. I turned so fast that Lily almost dashed into me. I put on a straight, strict face and glared at Lily. "Look. I know you and Emma aren't on the best terms, but please just act decent. She just got well, the least you could do is be a mature girl, and put on a nice face."

Lily glared back at me. I folded my arms over my chest, not dropping my gaze. Lily muttered something that sounded like "Fine." before she side stepped me into the hall.

I followed her right at her heels. The second I spotted Emma, I called out. "Emma! You're back!" I jogged past Lily, slightly nudging her as a reminder, and took the seat next to Emma. Emma quickly finished chewing as I started to fill my plate.
