-- Lily's POV --

"Ughhhhhhh!!!!!!" I painfully groaned for like the millionth time. Next to me i heard Wormtail mumbling next to Sirius's bed. I really badly wanted to scream, and shout, and be mad. But i had no strength. I tried to lift my hand for some water, but it just fell limply down by my side. I groaned. Wormtail looked over, he looked back at Sirius before getting up, and walking to my side, and handing me a glass of water. I looked at him, and i really wanted to ask him to hit Sirius for me, but i smiled and tried my best to hold the glass with both of my hands shaking tremendously.

Sirius whispered something to Peter, and Peter ran out. I didn't want to talk to Sirius, even if i could so i turned my back to him and looked out the window. My mind slowly went back to the incident that seemed like forever ago, even though it had only been around an hour...

what do you call snogging him on the steps, and then pretending like nothing happened?!"

Sirius's voice echoed in my head again and again. Well it's not like i wanted to ignore him. I just didn't know that he remembered. I mean how the hell would i know that colorful wisps included kissing me?! like for merlins sake! My brain got defensive all of a sudden. I wanted to convince myself that it wasn't my fault, but i already kind of knew that it slightly was my fault. I took a deep breath, trying not to think about anything. I was just going to doze off when the door flew open.

-- James's POV --

I sat outside in one of the many courtyards of this huge school. I was with Emma and Grace and Remus. They were softly talking to each other, but they gave up on talking to me after the first twenty minutes. It was so annoying to know that i couldn't do anything to help her. I carried her all the way to the hospital wing, but the whole time she was listless, and i couldn't even tell if she was breathing. Hell i don't know if i was breathing. After leaving her in her bed, i stayed for a few minutes until Emma and Grace showed up. They spoke to her, and Sirius, and then Madame Pomfrey told us that both of them had to rest, so we were shooed away. Agh! I mentally screamed at myself. I played with my hands in frustration.

I swear to holy Merlin Sirius isn't going to see tomorrows sunrise.

I angrily thought to myself. I bit my lip, as i let my mental rage continue.

What was he even thinking? How many times does he have to hurt Lily until i finally kill him? Whatever they were fighting about couldn't be done later? What the bloody hell?!

I was just going to blow when Wormtail ran up to us. "hey um guys... Lily's awake now." My eyes grew, i didn't even wait for a second before taking off as fast as my legs could go. My blood was rushing, i could feel it in my head as I took the steps two at a time. I could faintly hear Emma behind me to take it slow, but I didn't mind it, and kept racing down the corridors. As I finally reached i didn't even think twice before throwing it open. All of a sudden i didn't know what to do. She was just sitting there, looking shocked. The bed beside with Padfoot who was just as startled. i was frozen. Until here i had only one goal, to see her, but i obviously hadn't thought it through. i had nothing to do. I didn't know what to say. "Mr. Potter." A voice broke the eerie silence. "I am sure you were very worried about your friends, but breaking the door isn't necessary is it?" Madame Pomfrey walked up to me. I looked to the side, and the door looked fine. I looked back at her. "Uh Madame Pomfrey." Emma spoke from behind me. I moved to the side. "Are they fine?"
