— Lily's POV —

"Wooooooo!" The common room was vibrating with the jumps and cheers of Gryffindor people. It was around 10:30 when we finally managed to get back to the rooms, all seven of the team, being carried through the fat lady. "Yeah!" Grace hooted as she jumped off of the guys carrying her. I automatically wrapped her in a huge bear hug, while she jumped up and down in joy. Grace then turned to Emma to give her a hug.

It had been around 20 minutes since the victory party had started in the common room. Since then the girls steps had sounded the alarm at least 7 times. They were all couples making out that then got embarrassed, walking to another corner. I had positioned myself on the steps, because apparently no matter how many people did it, or how humiliating, people still seemed to do it.

Yet another couple, I think in the 5th year were snogging senselessly, "Girls steps." I warned, the guy opened his eyes, seemed to say thank you, as he turned the girl around and they disappeared behind a bunch of people.

"Trust Lily to be working at a party." Sirius smirked as he walked up the steps with James. "Yeah. Congratulations." I didn't take the offence, just smiled ignoring the insult. "Yeah, um Lily. We have a question." James sounded awfully wary. I lifted an eyebrow. "Oh suck it up Prongs. We want to drink. We're only going to play butterbeer pong, and bottoms up." My eyeballs almost fell out of their sockets.

"What the heck! No way! What's wrong with you two?!" I screamed in shock. "Come on Lily, please." James asked quietly, lifting his head. "James Potter, I'm sorry if you don't remember, but you are head boy! How could you even think of this?! On top of that come and ask the head girl if it's okay?!" I was aghast with how they could even think of this.

"Please Lily, we don't do this every day anyways, and you know that." James continued shyly. "Evans, at least we had the decency to ask, right? We should get points for that." Sirius remarked. I shot a glare at Sirius. James looked innocent and pleading, Sirius stood there hands crossed waiting.

"Fine - " "Yes!" Sirius interrupted. "I wasn't done. Only after the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years have left. No spiking the punch. Only 7th years can play. Lastly, if any of you get a hangover I swear I'll..." I didn't finish the sentence, but my tone was grim and cold. "She said yes! Let's go Wormtail!" Sirius announced as he turned.

James stood there as he watch Sirius go."Thank you so much Lily. I promise to follow the rules. Thank you." He sounded so sincere, before he turned and ran to Sirius. I just sat there, my hands folded over my chest as I watched him jog away.

The scarf brushed against my hand. Involuntarily, a smile formed on my face as James laughed heartily at some joke.

— Emma's POV —

I'm really not a party person. I'm not saying that I'm not overjoyed that Gryffindor won - I just wish I didn't have to stay up for more than half the night to celebrate. Ok a small festivity to mark the occasion, but that's all. At least I wish I didn't have friends like Grace dragging me around forcing me to stay.

"Grace! I can walk!" I pulled my hand free of her grasp, as I rubbed the red mark where she was gripping me. She turned around with a squinting face, as like a warning, but I ignored it. It was almost 12. all the children up till 4th year were already sent up. And now I was following Grace to a huge crowd around a table.
