Chapter 67 - Destiny

It had been a long time. Maybe a year? Yeah.. I know this story never ends. Ryujin ended up getting her disease back and I blamed myself entirely. I had maybe monthly visits with the kids but I agreed to keep my distance from them and mainly Ryujin. But I heard from Lia that Ryujin had just got back from treatment and was doing a lot better and that I should stop by. So I did..

I opened the door to the house and saw my fiancée on the couch. I bit my lip, sitting on the couch. She looked at me, "I-I.. I haven't s-seen you in.. a year.." I licked my lips, looking down, and nodding, "Yeah.. it's my fault for this happening to you and I wanted to be there for you, trust me I did, but I didn't want to hurt you even more than I've already have. It's sickening when your sick yourself and hurt other people. Especially the people you love."

"Y-you still love me?" Ryujin held her tears back. I got up, sitting next to her, and putting my hand on her thigh, "I have never stopped loving you. We both had things in our life that made us go through a hard time. What sucks is that we couldn't be there for each other and it hurt our relationship a lot. But I'm doing way better now and I will be here for you as long as I'm able to, because I love you, Shin Ryujin."

Her eyes fluttered and she said, "You're right Yeji.. you're so right. I will do the same for you because I love you too. D-did we f-find out what love is?" My heart pinged and I looked at her, "Y-yes.. w-we have." I smiled big when Ryujin smiled and we hugged each other tight. She held my jawline, "Let's get married finally." I widened my eyes and then we kissed for as long as we wanted.

2 weeks later-

I woke up in Ryujin's arms and she kissed me, "Good morning baby.." I kissed her back, "Mhm, morning. Let's get up." We both snuggled each other and went out of our room, seeing our kids. Jihoon was getting taller every minute I saw him. I hugged him, "Ji! You're getting sooo talll!!!" He laughed and said, "Yes." I then hugged Kwan too. "Gee, you guys are still my cuddle bugs." Ryujin kissed me, "You're my cuddle bug too." I pecked her lips, "Breakfast?" I gave puppy eyes.

She pouted and went to the kitchen. I squealed, picking the kids up, and taking them to the couch to watch TV. Kwan leaned on me, "We miss you so much mama." I said, "You know who said anything about missing? I am here for good and I'm here with all of you now." Jihoon nodded, "Yeah, she's right. We're all here." Kwan giggled and I smiled. Nothing was getting in our way now because we had suffered the most painful part of our love and still made it together.

All of our love. Lia, Chaeryeong, Yuna, Jihoon, Kwan, Ryujin, everybody. But of course Ryujin is the one I love the absolute most. She is my destiny.
