Chapter 21

We Can't, At Least Not Now

"Hawaii. You bought plane tickets to Hawaii with out asking me. I would have liked to know this before you planned this whole trip because I don't know if I want to go and I don't think you can return plane tickets".

"sorry".

"it's ok but why didn't you ask me first".

"because I wanted it to be a surprise".

"thanks. What's up with all of these surprises now a days".

" i don't know and why. What's wrong with that".

"Cameron I'm pregnant. I would be throwing up the whole way there".

"oh".

"I really want to go".

"yea I know and that is why I did this".

"that's cam I really love this gift but I don't know if I should go".

"what. Why not".

"because not now. Maybe after we have the kids and then Jen or one of our parents could watch the kids".

"true".

"when would we leave anyways".

"tonight".

"tonight we would leave tonight".

"yes at 10 o'clock at night. In five hours".

"let me think about it for a minute".

"ok".

"next time let me know when you are planning a trip".

"yea I will".

"wait! What about dinner at your moms tomorrow".

"I called her and she said we could go we could have dinner another time".

"ok. Thanks".

I walk out the front door and sit on the porch.

Why did he book a trip to Hawaii without telling me?

Oh yes his huge surprise phase.

I remember when I was six years old and my parents were taking me and Jen to Disney world.

Flashback

"mom are we going yet".

"yes honey we are leaving in ten minutes".

"yay".

I run up to my room and grab my little barbie suitcase and pack all of my stuffed animals into it.

"Jen, Holly we are going now".

"YAY". Jen and I yell as we run down the stairs.

"we are going to Disney holly we get to meet mickey mouse and Minnie mouse and Donald-".

""And goofy Jen. You can't forget goofy".

"oh yea I can't forget him, just like I can't forget you".

"hey. Mom Jen is being mean to me".

"Jen stop bugging your sister".

"fine".
