Jonah's POV:

A knock sounded at my bedroom door. My butler Shawn opened the door.

"It's sir Landon and Cameron Your Highness. They have come to see you." He said.

I nodded and he let them in then he let himself out so we could talk alone. I summoned them to my bedroom so we could discuss our trip to King Ian's palace.

Landon is my royal advisor. He and I have worked together many years and he's always been loyal to me and my family. He's a good man and I always listen to his advice. I mean that is his job.

Cameron is my personal driver. We had a rocky start but he hasn't failed me once. He's a loyal man too even if he's still strange sometimes. I always feel like I have to watch my back around him. He hasn't given me a reason not to trust him but it's just a feeling I get from him.

"The day after tomorrow we're traveling to Itubet. Cameron, you will drive Landon and I there and then back here."

Landon nodded.

Cameron nodded and said. "Yes Your Highness, I will prepare the carriage tonight."

"Good. Pack your bags and be ready by lunchtime. You're dismissed." I said picking up the newspaper again. They left silently and shut the door behind them.

I walked into the tea room and approached the small wooden table in the center. At the seat next to the head of the table was Robin. She looked beautiful as always. Regal and princess-like. Her brown hair was up showing her long thin neck. Her pale skin only made her big green eyes pop. Small freckles decorated her skin and she had big pouty lips. She wore a blue gown with puff sleeves.

She was King Rafael and Queen Elise's daughter. She is also arranged for marriage with me, so she's probably going to be my future wife.

Great...

I don't know how I'll marry her.

She smiled as I approached and stood to welcome me. The table was full of different foods and next to her seat at the head of the table was another place setting for me.

I nodded my head at her in greeting and she curtsied. "Hello, Your Highness."

"Hello, it's nice to see you."

We sat down and she served me some wine. I thanked her and we engaged in some small talk which I always hated and for some reason, I sensed she did too. She was stiff and didn't seem to want to be there.

I'm glad because I didn't either so it'd be easier to reject her if she wasn't interested in the first place.

"Look Robin I came here because I have to tell you something important." She nodded and smiled. "I'm leaving tomorrow to visit the other kingdoms. I'm afraid I might not come back so I cannot promise myself to you at this moment. I apologize especially since my father made you come here with the intention of getting you a husband, but I will not make you my fiancé if I risk dying tomorrow or the next day."

"Okay thank you for being honest. I understand completely." She said.

We stood and I kissed her hand lightly. "Goodbye, Your Highness. Have a nice day and again I apologize for our current situation." I said politely and turned.

Right before I shut the door I heard her whisper to herself. "Thank god."

I almost laughed out loud.

I feel the same way Robin...
