Chapter 23 "Oh how I've missed you"

Sirocco POV

It's been awhile. Too long to be exact. For I need your  counseling and your power. Swiftly, I throw open the door to the crown room. "Oh how I've missed you" I grin with a slight growl. Green and black vines lay still on the walls and on the floor. They've grown longer. Soon I'll need a bigger room for the crown. "Well hello my darling" I whisper as I run my claws along the velvet trim of the bottom of the crown. I can't keep holding myself back from wearing this crown. I put it on gently. "Well, well, well. If it isn't Sirocco the traitor" the crown whispers. Black vines begin crawling slowly towards me. Closing in, ever so slowly. "Traitor? How am I a traitor?" I ask. "You're a traitor to your own word. You failed to kill Meadow. But I'll need to admit, that maybe it wasn't such a terrible idea to keep her alive" the crown admits.

I chuckle, knowing I was right. "But that doesn't change the fact that you've disobeyed me. And don't bother getting all smug about this. For me letting you go with a warning. If you dare disobey me again, I'll begin... let's just say. Letting my magic free" the crown threatens. "Oh don't worry, I know. I'll be a valiant servant to your power, your majesty" I reply with a slight bow. That's when I notice the vines are beginning to crawl up onto me. I probably shouldn't shake free from them, that'll surely just anger the crown. "Good" the crown says. The scratchy, thorny vines crawl further up my legs. I can't take it. I gotta get them off. Suddenly, I'm shaking around, clawing at the vines with my paws. "Stop it! What are you doing!" The crown screeches as I rip a vine free from my leg. "You will lay for this!" The crown shouts as I tear more off. "My power! Stop it! Stop it! You're weakening me!" The crown screams as I remove the last one. I throw the crown off and toss back onto the stand, before making a mad dash towards the door.
