Sirocco POV
I roll up the map and tie it with a little string. "It's all yours ...Warrior" I nobly say as I hand Meadow the map. "Thanks" she mumbles. I think she's regretting her decision. But it's too late for that. Wether or not she wants to change her mind. We can' do that. She's already agreed to this. "Will you allow me to come with you?" I ask. Meadow shakes her head. "No. It's a journey I must take on my own" she says. I must admit, it's impressive she wants to do this alone. "Besides my dear Sirocco. You have a kingdom to run, isn't that right?" Meadow giggles. I think it's cute the way she referred to me as 'her dear'. "Why yes. Yes I do" I reply. The last rays of sunlight from the evening just disappear over the mountain tops.
"Why don't you go and get some shuteye?" I suggest. "I will" Meadow says as she slowly walks past me. Sneaking a kiss on my cheek on her way past me. Wait, why did she kiss me?. I try to hide my blushing cheeks with my paws until she's gone out the door. "Good night!" She says. "Good night.." I mumble.
