Jessica POV:

Terror seeps into my heart. My limbs feel as stiff as stone. There's a massive Goblin about 50 feet away from us stomping directly towards us. I quickly turn to Shigeru and yell, "We can't go back! We'd lead it home! Fighting is our only option now!"

I carefully put Futoi-Chan safely away in my backpack where he won't be hurt but the goblin knocks me down to my side. However, I'm saved by a Ybox that comes flying from the air, hitting the goblin. Wait, where did a Ybox come from??

Shigeru shouts, "No time to explain the Ybox! LET'S GO!" I leave behind our extra provisions and we sprint as fast as we can away from the goblin. But I don't think we're fast enough. I decide to take the risk to look behind me. The goblin has already risen from the ground and is escorted by his horrible green friends. I keep my eyes in front of me.

Shigeru begins to fall behind me. "Leave me!" I hear him scream from behind. I run slower so that I am beside him, "No!" I say, "I will not leave you!" Shigeru finally collapses as he can not run any faster. I take out my gardening hoe and position it for combat.

When the biggest goblin comes at me I try to slice his ankle. However, he jerks away from me before I can land a single scratch on him. He swings his mighty fist and knocks me off my feet. I let out a high pitched scream. They're already holding Shigeru limp  in their slimy, green clutches.

Finally, my body gives out and the goblin lifts me with its arms. I try to kick free but I'm trapped. The goblin holds something that smells funny up to my nose. I try to hold my breath but my body begins to go numb...

I wake up on a cold cement floor. I don't know where I am so I look around. I find that the floor is not made of cement, but rather ice. I'm in a cell, completely made out of sky, blue ice. Shigeru is on the floor next to me. I try furiously to shake him away but he's out cold.

A wave of fear goes through me. "FUTOI-CHAN!" I open my backpack to find the happy blue frog still safely inside. I sigh and put the frog softly back in the bag. I make sure to give him plenty of dead bugs I got earlier and give him some space inside the bag. He seems comfy in there. I survey my surroundings.

The cell is about the size of your average prison cell. All the walls are blank ice bricks besides the one wall, which is just a wall of ice bars and a door. Nothing helpful. I peek out the bars and see another cell across from ours.

When I stick my head out and look to the left I see a pair of eyes looking back at me. The woman says to me, "Hello! I thought I wouldn't interupt your, uh, fear talk?"

The woman has dirty blonde hair, a normal farmer's attire of jeans and flannel, and a kind look. I think I recognize her. I ask, "Wait, are you Farmer Bernadette? As in, Martin's mother?" The woman sadly smiles and corrects me, "Aunt, actually,"she says.

I nodd sadly beating around the bush. Farmer Bernadette's eyes light up, "Do you know him?! Do you know my boy?! Is he alright?" I hear her words and look down at my rainbow crocs. I say, "Ma'am, there's something I need to tell you about Martin..."
