No....It can't be!

This isn't happening!

Masama akong tumingin sakanila at nagsalita.

"Do you think our friendship was made because of your businesses? Si Kylie na lang ang kaibigan na mayroon ako! Tapos, puputulin niyo yung connection ko with her? How dare you to do that?!" I shouted at them.

"Their business are failing, Chelsea. That's why cut your connection with her, she's nothing but a trash now." Mommy said while reading a magazine.

"Basura? Sa pinapakita niyo ngayon, kayo pa ang mas basura!"

"Chelsea, tama na!" Daddy shouted at me.

"Dahil lang bumagsak yung business nila, I should cut my connection with them? We should help them because that's friendship."

"Pero hindi sa lahat ng bagay, kailangan pairalin ang pagka-kaibigan," singit ni Mommy at nilapag ang magazine sa coffee table.

"You may lost everything. Cut your connection with her, Chelsea. I'm telling you, you may lost everything you have right now." She warned while looking at me. "Kailangan mong sumunod, Chelsea, or else alam mo ang kalalagyan mo."

Tulala akong lumabas ng office at pumasok sa kwarto. She's my only friend. She's like my sister. Mawawala lahat ng mayroon ako kapag patuloy akong nakipag-kaibigan sakanya. I have a fine life, but I may lose my one friend, my only friend.

Tears escaped from my eyes and I just let it out. Namumuo ang sakit sa puso ko at ang tanging magagawa ko lang ay umiiyak.

Suddenly my phone rang, the caller id was unfamiliar number.

"Hello" humihikbi pa akong nagsalita sa telepono.

Bakit naman kasi sa kalagitnaan ng ka-dramahan ko, may eepal?

But minutes past, still the caller didn't response.

"Hello? If you have nothing to say, I'm gonna put down the call. You're interrupting me-"

"I know you're crying."

"Unknown..." I whispered between the call.

Napatitig ako sa screen at agad na pinindot ang recording.

"Choose what makes your heart feels better. Ayokong masaktan ka sa pipiliin mong desisyon," he said.

"Kahit ano sa dalawa ang piliin ko, masasaktan pa rin ako. Kylie was my only friend, I treasure her so much. Para ko na rin siyang kapatid."

I don't know but I found myself ranting, crying and telling him about what happened. He just silently listening to me, give me the spotlight and wait until I get better. Wait until I become okay.

"I don't know what actions should I do. Naguguluhan ako, nahihirapan ako. Its about the life that I had over our friendship. Maliit na bagay pero pinapalaki ko ba?" napapagod akong sumandal sa gilid ng kama ko.

I smiled bitterly and face the ceiling.

"I know your friendship with Chelsea is not fake. I saw the sincerity of the friendship of you two had. Masaya ka kapag kasama siya, and yeah, parang kapatid mo na talaga siya. But can you sacrifice your life for her? Kasi kung ako ang tatanungin, ayokong mahirapan ka." He said over the phone.
