Chapter 3 Jayden gets poisoned & kidnapped

The next day Octaroo went through a gap between the netherworld and earth. He thought that Jayden still has the sealing symbol but he doesn't. The next day Octaroo poisoned one of the drinks when Mentor Ji wasn't looking. That way he wouldn't interfere with his plan to get the sealing symbol out of Jayden. He reached his hand up from the netherworld and used some dark magic to poison one of the drinks. Jayden took a sip of the drink then spit it out and dropped the cup realizing that the drink was poisoned. He fell onto the ground. "The drink, it's poisoned." Jayden said. Mentor ran into the shiba house. "John, Lauren, there are moggers right outside of the house." Mentor Ji said. "But we can't leave Jayden." Lauren said. "Don't worry about me. Go, hurry." Jayden said. John and Lauren go out to fight the moggers while Mentor Ji went to the kitchen to get some dried mushrooms. "I'm calling the others for back up." Lauren said before contacting the others. "I hope they can find us." John said. "They know their way around so they will definitely find us." Lauren said. "We better step up our game. Wolf claws!" John said as he pulled out two claw boosters that the jungle fury rangers used. "Fire smasher!" Lauren said while pulling out the fire smasher. Meanwhile in the house Mentor Ji brought some dried mushrooms over to Jayden. Then Octaroo showed up. "What a joke, seriously? You're going to fight my black magic potion with dried mushrooms?" Octaroo said. "Foolish nighlok, your forces were defeated here once before and they shall be again." Mentor Ji said. "You want a piece of me?" Octaroo said. Before Mentor Ji or Octaroo could say or do anything else Jayden spoke. "Wait, it's me you want. Let Mentor Ji go." Jayden said. "Fine by me. I just need one thing from you. You're going to show me the symbol you red rangers use to seal away Master Xandred." Octaroo said. Jayden ends up dragging himself out into the front yard behind the gate. "It's a simple question red ranger. Just show me the sealing symbol, I'll give you the antidote, and it will save us both a lot of grief." Octaroo said. Jayden thought about it for a minute before answering. "Never." Jayden said. "That's how you want to play it?" Octaroo said. "My brother said no!" Lauren yelled as she ran over to them to save her little brother. "Who invited you? This is a private conversation." Octaroo said. "Lauren?" Jayden said before passing out. Lauren and Octaroo are still fighting. "Hold still, would you?" Octaroo said. Then Octaroo used some kind of smoke causing Lauren to fly back by a few inches. "Ugh, that smell." Lauren said before Octaroo grabbed her with two of his tentacles. "Ew, slimy." Lauren said. "Okay girl, let's dance." Octaroo said after zapping her. Then he moved her around with his tentacles. "I think it's time to trim those tentacles." Lauren said before cutting his tentacles with her spin sword. "Those take forever to grow." Octaroo said as Lauren cut herself free. "Play time's over squid." Lauren said. "Really? Batter up." Octaroo said before throwing some spherical shaped bombs towards her and she deflected each one while charging toward him. Before she could even get close to him Octaroo sends some moggers after her and kidnaps Jayden. After fighting off the moggers Lauren noticed that Octaroo was getting away. She started to chase after him. "Come back with my brother!" Lauren said as she went after him. Then she stopped in her tracks realizing that she can't keep up with him. "Jayden, I failed you." Lauren said. They fight all of the moggers off. Later that night Lauren was looking up at the stars in a quiet moment to herself. John walked up to her. "Hey, are you okay?" John asked. "No, I just feel like I failed Jayden." Lauren said. "Hey, listen, it's possible to survive a kidnapping." John said. "Well, sometimes people don't survive getting kidnapped." Lauren said. The next day I find out that Jayden got kidnapped by Octaroo. I found that out from Lauren, John, and Mentor Ji. I have to try to get in contact with Jayden, he could definitely use my guidance. Later that night Lauren walked out and John was drinking some Gatorade. "Lauren, don't make a man drink alone." John said. "I'm not in the mood for a drink or a man." Lauren said as she walked past him. "I'm sorry I didn't listen to you today. I know you feel like you've got the weight of the world on your shoulders but at some point, eventhough we're quite different, you gotta trust me." John said as he stopped her. "Is that what you think this is about, I don't trust you?" Lauren said cutting him off. "I know what it's about." John said. "Of course I trust you." Lauren said. "Then why do you keep pulling away from me?" John asked. "Because most of my family is dead. Mom, dad, even Ariel. I lost everyone. I can't lose Jayden too." Lauren said. "Lauren, you don't have to worry about him. If there's one thing power rangers are good at, it's surviving." John said. Then they kissed each other. Meanwhile at the Carnegie museum of natural history Octaroo gave Jayden the anidont for the poison. Jayden is still unconscious from the poison. Octaroo wanted to have a heart from one of the rangers so one night he sent a mogger to the shiba house and while John was sleeping the mogger ripped his heart out of his chest. When Octaroo had his heart he tried to crush it to destroy him but he couldn't because there was a protection spell on his heart. I put that spell on him to keep him safe but he didn't know it. I basically put the protection spell on him while he was sleeping. The next morning Jayden wakes up. He doesn't know where he is or how he got there.
