Chapter 4 Jayden seeks guidance from Ariel & the team reunites

Jayden looks around. "Where am I?" Jayden asked. "Well well well, look who finally decided to wake up." Octaroo said while walking up to him. "Where are we nighlok?" Jayden asked. "We're in the Carnegie museum of natural history." Octaroo said. "What do you want from me nighlok?" Jayden asked. "I got what I want. You." Octaroo said. "Why me?" Jayden asked. "You're the catch of the day. You're the bait I'm gonna use to lure your sister and your friends. Wouldn't you like to give them a call? I bet you would. Well too bad. They'll come for you from the only entrance to the museum. From the front door. And when they do my mogger guards will be waiting with open arms." Octaroo said. Then he walked away. Jayden somehow noticed that his hands were tied behind his back and that they were also tied to a silver pole. Jayden started to feel like he was lost. He was even losing faith in himself. "Maybe I should try to ask Ariel for help. The only problem is, I don't know if she'll ever want to talk to me." Jayden said to himself.

"Ariel, I don't know if you can hear me but I feel lost. I just don't know if they are going to come for me. I don't know what I should do." Jayden said. "So, you finally decided to talk to me. It's been a very long time Jayden." I said. "Ariel, I know that I haven't talked to you for a long time. Don't get mad at me." Jayden said. "You think I wouldn't be mad? Of course I'm mad at you." I said. "Okay, look, I know that I didn't talk to you whenever I had a chance to. But right now I need some guidance. I got kidnapped by Octaroo and I am in a national history museum. I just don't know what to do." Jayden said. "Okay, just try to get along with him. And also don't show any signs of agression and make some escape plans. I'll contact the others to save you." I said. "Okay." Jayden said. "Just hang in there. I'll get the others to help Lauren and John." I said. I decided to get Emily and Mike first. "Mike, Emily." I said. "Ariel?" Mike and Emily said at the same time. "Guys, Jayden got kidnapped by Octaroo. I need you guys to go to the shiba house. Lauren and John will go over the plan with you when you get there." I said. "Okay, we'll contact the others and meet up with them." Emily said. I was happy about that, that means that I will not have to get everyone else. I went to go talk to Lauren and John. They were training for the rescue operation. "John, Lauren, this is going to be dangerous." I said. "Danger? Ha, I walk on the wild side. I laugh in the face of danger." John said. "John, she's right, but as you know..." Lauren said before I finished her sentence. "A ranger never gives up." I said. "That's what I was going to say." Lauren said. "Well, you were not exactly getting straight to the point." I said. "So, while we're waiting for the others, can you tell us where Octaroo took him?" Lauren asked. "Yes, Octaroo took him to the Carnegie museum of natural history." I said. "That's on Forbes Avenue, in Pittsburgh, near Schenley Plaza." John said. "Why would he take him there?" Lauren asked. "I don't know. The only problem is I don't know what exhibit he is in but I bet that he is either in the dinosaur hall or the hall that has a skeleton of a dire wolf." I said. "I was thinking that since John is a shapeshifter wolf he can check that hall while I check the dinosaur hall. The others can look in some of the other areas." Lauren said. "Sounds like a good idea. But you guys need some kind of code for when one of you guys find him." I said. "Maybe we should have code names." John said. "Sounds like a good idea." Lauren said. The next day the others met with them. "Okay guys, John and I decided that we're going to have code names. John, what's your code name?" Lauren said. "My code name is Blacky." John said. "Okay, Emily, what about you?" Lauren said. "I was thinking sunbird." Emily said. "Okay, Mia, what's your code name?" Lauren said. "You know, I haven't thought about that." Mia said. "How about Pinky?" Lauren said. "Okay, I'm fine with that." Mia said. "Okay, Kevin, what's your code name?" Lauren said. "My code name is Oceanside." Kevin said. "Okay, what about you Mike?" Lauren said. "Mine is green troll." Mike said. "Alright, Antonio, what's yours?" Lauren said. "Mine is Goldeneye." Antonio said. "Alright, now I need a code name." Lauren said. "How about firefox?" Mia said. "Okay, sounds good to me." Lauren said. "Well, we should probably train for a while since we're going to be fighting some moggers, and I am pretty sure that our moves are a little rusty from last time." John said. "It has been a while, hasn't it?" Emily said. They train for two hours before taking a break. While they were taking their break Lauren went over the plan with them. "Okay, there's no doubt that there are going to be some moggers the minute we go into the museum to save Jayden. After we get past the moggers we'll split up to search different places in the museum. We'll be able to get in contact with each other by using walkie talkies." Lauren said. "Here's what I was thinking, what if I put a protection spell on you guys?" John said. "Sounds good." Mike said. "John, are you sure about this? What if it doesn't work?" Lauren said. "Don't worry, I will make sure that it works." John said. "How?" Lauren said. "I don't know, but I will find out a way to make it work." John said. Then he walked out into the yard. "Ariel?" John said. "I'm here John, what's up?" I asked. "Well, tomorrow morning we're going to go rescue Jayden and I want to put a protection spell on the team." John said. "John, it won't work. It didn't work last time." I said. "Only because Master Xandred made it look like it didn't work. He did something to break the spell." John said. "Really?" I asked. "Yeah, I was thinking about using that same spell. I also found out that there's a second part to it." John said. "John, it's too risky." I said. "It's a risk worth taking to save Jayden." John said. "I'm telling you, it's too big of a risk. What if something happens?" I said. "Like what?" John asked. "Oh, you'll find out." I said before disappearing. Then John walked back into the house.
