The next day Jayden got told by the doctor that eventhough he is getting checked out he can stay with Lauren. Meanwhile in Lauren's mind she finds herself in a desert-like place with a shallow pond where the water didn't even come up to her ankles, only like halfway up her feet. "Hello? Hello! Anybody! What is this place?" Lauren said as she looked around. "Hello Lauren." Stephen said. Lauren turned around very quickly and saw a ranger version of her dad standing up the hill from her. "Remember me?" Stephen said. "Dad? Is that you?" Lauren asked. "Yeah, it's me alright. And I'm still as tough as ever. The question is are you as strong as you look?" Stephen said while walking towards her. "What is this? I'm not going to fight you." Lauren said. "Then I suppose you will be destroyed." Stephen said. She didn't have the samuraizer. She ended up fighting her dad anyway. After a while Stephen asked her if she was washed up already. Then he tried to kick her with a roundhouse kick but she grabbed his leg and was somehow able to throw him. Stephen stood up. "I see you got a lot of fight left in you but is it enough." Stephen said before disappearing. "Wait! What are you talking about?" Lauren said. Then the scenery around her changed into a forest with white mist and Brittany was calling her name. "Something tells me we're not in Panorama City anymore." Lauren said as she looked around. "Or Angel Grove." Brittany said before showing up. "Finally cut that hair, huh Lauren?" Brittany said. "Mom? But you died when I was six years old." Lauren said. "I could have faked it if it wasn't for your sister." Brittany said. "Ugh, not again." Lauren said. "For old times sakes." Brittany said before they started fighting each other. After getting Lauren on the ground Brittany pulled out her spin sword that she used when she was their age. She tried to hit Lauren with it but Lauren dodged it. Then after using a move called ashi barai she looked at Lauren who she knocked to the ground. "You still with me? Come on, get up!" Brittany said as she pulled Lauren up and pinned her to a tree. "Don't forget, I know all of your moves." Brittany said before pinning Lauren to another tree. "That might be true, but I learned a bunch of new ones." Lauren said before getting free. Then she used a move that she has been practicing ever since she was six years old. She was able to get her mom on the ground. Brittany stood up. "Whoa, impressive. Now we'll see if you can face your toughest challenge." Brittany said before disappearing. "What? Like that wasn't tough?" Lauren said. Meanwhile back at her hospital room the doctor is checking on her. "Is there anything you can tell me?" Jayden said. "I'm sorry Jayden, no change." The doctor said before walking out. Then John walked in. "I wish there was something I can do. I feel completely helpless." Jayden said. "Jayden, Lauren is pretty tough. She never gives up without a fight." John said. "She's just like Ariel. Never wants to give up." Jayden said. Meanwhile in Lauren's mind the scenery changed again. Now she is by some really old, overgrown ruins of an old temple in another forest but it's more like a clearing than anything else. "Okay, this is weird, even by ranger standards." Lauren said. Then she grabbed my spin sword. "I thought I'd might run into you." Lauren said as she faced me. "It's been a while Lauren, seeing everything you're doing to help Jayden." I said. "Seems to work for me. Let me guess, you wanna fight." Lauren said. "You guessed right." I said. Then we started to fight. I disarmed her and used the leg sweep move. Then I used the spin sword to get her on the ground again. "Spin sword, wolf claw slash!" I said as I did the move. Then Lauren got up. I pinned her to a tree and she raised me above her head and by the time my feet touched the ground I threw her. Then I picked up an old pillar from the old temple, placed it with one side up and the other side down and I kicked it towards her and it sent her to the ground again. I walked up to her. "You know better than anybody how powerful I am. Why don't you just give up the fight?" I asked. "That's the one thing I'll never do!" Lauren said. I raised the sword and pointed it at her neck. "Then I guess this is over." I said. She looked at me in the eyes when I said that. Instead of killing her I put the sword back into its holster. I held my hand out to her. "You passed the test." I said as I helped her up. "Test? What are you talking about?" Lauren said. "You haven't been fighting us. You've been fighting for your life." Stephen said as he walked up to us. "And you've proven that your will to live is stronger than any ranger power." Brittany said as she walked up to us. Lauren looked at me and I pulled out her samuraizer. "This is yours." I said. She took it out of my hand. "Good luck Lauren." Stephen, Brittany and I said. Then she looked at the samuraizer in her hand and closed her hand around it. Then she woke up. She looked at Jayden. "Jayden." Lauren said. Jayden looked at her. "Lauren." Jayden said before giving her a hug. "I was so worried about you. I wasn't sure if you were ever going to wake up." Jayden said after letting go of her. "I had to fight like hell to stay with you." Lauren said. "What do you mean by that?" Jayden asked. Then John walked in. "Hey Lauren, I'm glad to see that you are okay." John said. Then they hugged each other. When they got back home Jayden still didn't get an answer from Lauren. They went into the house and Lauren told them what was going on in her mind. "Jayden, to answer your question I had to fight three people to get my life back." Lauren said. "Who did you have to fight?" Jayden asked. "I had to fight our mom, our dad, and our little sister." Lauren said. "Wait, what? You had to fight our family members?" Jayden asked. "Yeah. I didn't want to but I had to." Lauren said. Then she went back to the college with Jayden. All of her friends were happy to see that she was okay. All of them were really worried about her when they found out that she was hit by a car and beaten up before that. And also when they found out that she was in a coma.
