23. Then and Now

Changsub POV

Changsub scratched his head in frustration.

Chorong has been ignoring him since he approached her at the park. Of course, she has all the right to be mad at him.

I am frustrated because I don't know what should I do.

I don't know what should I tell her.

Should I just blantly say that... that I like her?

Like?

It's more than that...

In his previous relationship, Irene never showed irritation towards him. It was like always walking on a flowery path, no thorns on their way.

He realized now that it was too good to be true. That's probably unfortunate things happened to them... to him. 

But right now, what should I say?

I should consider what Chorong feels, too.

Especially, about Minhyuk...

He was lost in his thoughts when he realized that Chorong was looking at him.

He forced a smile, "Chorong, hello. I'm back-"

She gave a soft sneer before he looked away from him.

Changsub wanted to curse at himself but at the same time, he found himself smiling.

Why does she have to be so cute when she's mad...

She was walking more slowly this time. He thought it was probably the alcohol, "She's not probably a good drinker," he murmured.

"I can hear you," she shouted.

"Sorry!" he answered immediately.

"Tch... Stop following me."

"I need to talk to you," he said.

"I don't want to talk to you," she answered back.

He calmed himself, "No, I owe you an explanation."

"You don't owe me an explanation," she said walking faster.

He walked faster as well, "You see, I went to the city to settle things-"

"Stop talking," Chorong stomped her foot and glared at him.

He sighed, "Fine."

She continued to glare at him. He finally had the chance to see her face.

Her hair was in a messy bun and her face was all red.
