He looked at himself one last time in front of the mirror and put on his red suit. His hair wasn't neat but not messy either. He recently dyed his hair silver just to make something new out of his appearance It was just what she likes.
"I really hope she would be surprised and be tearing up with happiness and then she will run into my arms," Changsub sweetly sighed and hugged himself.
It was the final run of the local adaptation of the musical Moulin Rouge starring Changsub's wife, Soohyun, or as everyone knows- Irene. Although he had watched it every night, he never told his wife about it. He wanted to surprise her on the last day and tell her that he watched her performances since the start of its run.

Changsub smiled happily and giggled like a child as he picked up the bouquet of flowers on their bedside table. He sighed exaggeratedly and looked at his wedding picture hanging on the wall, "How much do I love my wife? Soooooooooooo much... And this would be a nice gift," he chuckled again and picked up a book of poems he made for her.
They had been married for almost a year. It seemed like a fairy tale for the both of them.
Changsub saw her at a library when they both held the same book. It was cliché and he doesn't like these kinds of things but Changsub knew that if it is with her, it would be the best thing that happened to him.
And it is.
Irene loves surprises especially if it was from him. He occasionally treats her out whenever she's not busy with her career as a musical actress. Changsub, on the other hand, works as well in the entertainment industry as a lyricist and a part-time librarian. He loves reading books, arranging books, and even smelling them. That's when he gets inspiration and writes best. Irene supports him as much as he supports her.
They are living a happy life as a married couple.
As he drives towards the venue, he recalled how Irene was upset with him last night because he told her he couldn't come and watch.
