28. Push and Pull

Chorong's POV

"All right. Don't forget that presentations start next week and I won't be easy on you all," Chorong announced to her class.

"Yes, ma'am!"

She smiled at her students and left the classroom. It's been a week since her birthday celebration and she started her work after the same weekend.

It was also the last time I saw him.

Chorong wouldn't and couldn't forget the night Changsub sang for her. She took in every word that he sung. She swore that even Nara almost cried with his song.

And I wanted to run towards him while he sang.

She appreciated it and all and... And just like what Suho told her, it was like a love confession.

"We are each other's shelter, aren't we?" Chorong looked down on her feet. She felt guilty not because she cried in front of Changsub but she cried because of Minhyuk.

And I even told him that Minhyuk is still in my heart. I saw his reaction...

She couldn't face him. Chorong didn't know how she would talk to him and it kills her.

Also, the ring...

She was quite mad at Hoya for giving it to her but she realized that if he hadn't given it that night, she might not have the courage to look at it. But of course, all thanks to Changsub.

Nara on the other hand didn't mention anything about Changsub. Although before the two of them left, Nara was quite distant from her, and as of today, she hasn't called her.

She was in her deep thoughts and found herself standing near Jinyoung's office. Chorong knocked.

"Yeah?" 

"Director, it's me, Park Chorong."

She saw him sitting on his table, eyebrows knotted, "What is it?"

"Oh, are you busy? I was just... I can come back later if-"

"Get inside," he said in a serious mode.
