Part 15 || performance day

<time skip performance day>

Y/N's POV

Y/N: "Heeseung~ stop ignoring me" I asked him again feeling like tearing up. I don't know what happened but he just suddenly ignored me one day. I don't know if I did something wrong or not and when I tried asking him he didn't give me an answer at all. "Heeseung!" I called out to him again but he left the studio leaving me shocked. I thought he was the one who wanted to get back to the way we were before?

Our practice ended and we were gonna sing our collaboration live so we practiced a lot since we couldn't make any mistakes. Our last minute practice ended as we had to get ready. Once our coach left I begged him but he just left me. I slumped down and took a deep breathe. I can't get distracted by him now, I have to get ready. I brushed my thoughts off and headed to my changing room

<time skip performance>

Heeseung and I were sitting on stools with standing mics in front of us. It was simple, just sit down and sing together.

Staff: "ok we're going live in a minute!" A staff announced through speakers. I contemplated if I should try talking to Heeseung again...

Y/N: "Heeseung-"

Staff: "ok we're going live in 3, 2, 1!" The live started and both of us instantly put a smile on our faces

Y/N&Heeseung: "annyeong!" We waved at the camera "so for today since a lot of f/n and Engenes requested, we'll be having a collaboration on the song..." I gestured happily to Heeseung. He smiled at me and faced the camera

Heeseung: "At My Worst by Pink Sweat$!" Was that smile genuine or was it just for the camera "before we start let's see some of the things Engenes and F/n are saying" a staff handed him an iPad and he placed it in between us sharing it. We scrolled through the comments and there were a lot shipping both of us. Actually most of them were and it put us in this awkward atmosphere. We kept on trying to look for a comment about the performance so we could say something

Y/N: "someone says that it's her favorite song and she's really happy that we're performing it"

Heeseung: "then this one is asking why we chose this song" Heeseung and I made a fearful eye contact. Why did he read that comment?!

Y/N: "it's one of my favorites too and it was a song that Heeseung and I both enjoyed" I answered quickly hoping the fans wouldn't see through our faces

Heeseung: "so how about we start the performance?" We handed the staff the iPad back and held onto the mics in front of us. I adjusted my ear piece and took a deep breathe

Heeseung: #Can I call you baby? Can you be my friend?# he sang through the mic and then he suddenly turned to me #can you be my lover up until the very end?# he looked- he looked sincere? Was he actually tryna tell me that or was he just acting? #let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend. Stick by my side even when the world is giving in. We sang the chorus together harmonizing just the way we practiced. We smiled at each other and then at the camera. We swayed side to side closing our eyes from time to time.

Y/N: #If you stay forever, let me hold your hand. I can fill those places in your heart no else can" I looked at Heeseung at this line and he looked at me attentively. #Let me show you love, oh, I don't pretend, yeah. I'll be right here, baby, you know I'll sink or swim# I then gave him a playful wink and smiled at the camera. I waved to the fans and chuckled looking back at Heeseung and looking forward again #Oh, oh, oh, don't
Don't you worry# I was shocked when Heeseung started harmonizing again. This wasn't in practice but it made it sound so much better. I smiled at him and he smiled back winking at me. #I'll be there, whenever you want me# I pointed to Heeseung and he smiled at me

We sang the rest of the song just like we rehearsed and we were playful with the fans and also with each other.

<time skip end of song>

Y/N: "thanks so much for watching guys! I hope you enjoyed it and we'll see you next time!"

Heeseung: "until then this has been Heeseung..." he gestured to me

Y/N: "and y/n!"

Y/N&Heeseung: "byeee!!" We both leaned nearer each other with our hairs touching and we were waving bye to the camera

Staff: "ok that's it, good job guys! Y/n and Heeseung you have the rest of the day off" I sighed happily. Finally, it's been so- I felt something in my chest. Uh oh.

Heeseung's POV

We finally ended and I sighed. I turn to look at y/n wondering if I should talk to her. Maybe clear things up? I wasn't being fair to her, I see that now. I was gonna tap her shoulder but she bent down grabbing her water and chugged down some pills. She pressed onto her chest like she was in pain. Was- was something wrong with her

Heeseung: "are-are you ok?" She groaned and closed the bottle of water

Y/N: "I'm fine"

Heeseung: "ok cause we need to talk"
