Part 16 || talking...again

Y/N's POV

I entered my room and looked around. Is he here already? I checked my dorm and saw I was the only one here. I sighed walking to my couch. I rested my chin on the palm of my hand thinking about everything

Heeseung: "ok cause we need to talk" I raised an eyebrow at him

Y/N: "oh so now you want to talk right after you ignored me?" I was gonna stand up from the stool but he caught my worst stopping me from moving

Heeseung: "please" he looked at me sincerely and I could see from his eyes he really wanted to talk.

Y/N: "fine, when and where"

Heeseung: "your dorm 8:00 tonight"

It's 7:58pm right now so he should arrive sometime soon. I leaned back on the couch and just thought of what he could want. We already tried talking but it went well and the other time it didn't. What's it gonna be this time? I heard the doorbell and I stood up to open it

Heeseung: "hi y/n" he was wearing a hoodie with sweatpants and home slippers. It was- it was kinda cute

Y/N: "hey, just go ahead to the living room. I'll get us some drinks" he nodded and walked to the living room.

I poured us two glasses of honey water since our voices were kinda sore after the performance and practices. I handed it to him and he took a sip

Heeseung: "mmm thanks for the honey water" I hummed and we both placed our drinks down

Y/N: "so you wanted to talk, so talk" I gesture him to say something

Heeseung: "ok uhh" he moved around unsure of what to do "it's kinda hard to start this but, I just need a clear explaination of everything. Please, I'm so lost and I don't know what I should do anymore" should I? It's Heeseung, I can trust him right? But- but what if he thinks of me differently and ignores me for good? I shook my head and covered my face

Y/N: "Its not that simple Lee"

Heeseung: "then explain, just- explain. I'll try my very best to understand" he held both my hands in between his and he looked at me almost begging. I felt bad and I rested my forehead on our intertwined hands and sighed

Y/N: "I will but I'll understand if you change how you see me after I tell you this"

Heeseung: "y/n don't worry" I closed my eyes

Y/N: "the night of your concert I was running late. I didn't want you guys especially you to be disappointed I wasn't there, so I drove as fast as I can. I don't know if you remember or not but it was raining hard that night so I got into a crash" he widened his eyes at me

Y/N's POV

Heeseung: "you what?! Why did-"

Y/N: "that night I was brought to the hospital" She cut me off "I technically lost consciousness that night so I wasn't really sure what happened" I can't believe I thought of her so badly "when I woke up my parents together with Sunghoon was there with me" is that why he left the concert early? Wait... that phone call he received right after our concert must've been y/n! But- why did she call him and not me? Were they already a thing that time? "Then after a while the doctors told me the weight of the car caused some failures in my lungs which is why you see me keep taking medicines and stuff. Pdnim told me that he wanted to let me know that he wants to debut me but since I was in an accident he'd have to fly my to the States to get the best medical treatment and I also have to do my training there which I did" This was so much to process

Y/N: "I didn't tell you this at first because 1, I wasn't allowed to in the risk of false rumors being spread and 2, I had no way to communicate to anyone aside from my parents and Sunghoon and 3..." she hesitated a bit "even if I wanted to tell you I thought you resented me and hated me for breaking my promise. I know there was something important you wanted to tell me that night so you can tell me now" I bit the inside of my cheek contemplating

Heeseung: "I understand you y/n and I wish you told all this to me sooner but the thing I wanted to tell you that night doesn't really matter now"

Y/N: "why? Is it not relevant anymore?" No my feelings for you are still relevant but- you're with Sunghoon

Heeseung: "it is but there's no point in telling"

Y/N: "are you sure? C'mon is something stopping you" Sunghoon "so there is?" I looked at her slightly shocked that she saw through me "who's stopping you?" I looked forward avoiding eye contact

Heeseung: "no one"

Y/N: "is it Sunghoon?" How did she know?

Heeseung: "why would you think it's him?"

Y/N: "I don't know I get this weird tension between you guys so I just figured"

Heeseung: "tsk whatever"

Y/N: "please just tell me" this girl isn't gonna stop huh? Well here goes nothing

Heeseung: "fine, I like you y/n I thought I stopped when you left but the first time I saw you again my heart beat as fast as before and I've never felt so energetic. I like you ok? But you're with Sunghoon" I stood up wanting to leave embarrassment swallowing me up

Y/N: "wait what?" She grabbed the sleeve of my hoodie "I'm with Sunghoon? As in like dating?"

Heeseung: "yeah I heard you guys kiss" she widened her eyes and started laughing which made me look at her confused

Y/N: " *sigh* this is why I like you too pabo" I raised an eyebrow but I had to try my best not to smile so much

Heeseung: "what?"

Y/N: "pabo" she stood up and hugged me tightly inhaling my scent

"Sunghoon's my cousin"
