Part 13 || getting closer again

Heeseung's POV

Y/N: "Heeseung?" I turn my head to see y/n entering the door. First thing I thought of was if she was ok. She just stormed out all of a sudden which got me worried but it looked like she was fine

Heeseung: "y/n?"

Y/N: "so uhh did you choose a song already?" She looked kinda awkward but I'm gonna fix that and get our old friendship back and then maybe... something even more

Heeseung: "uhh yeah I did" I smiled warmly hoping to make her a bit more comfortable

Y/N: "great which song is it?"

Heeseung: "At my Worst by Pink Sweat$" she froze and her face fell. She didn't know what to say. It was our song. The song we jam to when something good happens and I think this collaboration is a miracle and an opportunity to let us become closer again

Y/N: "that song? Really Heeseung?"

Heeseung: "please y/n. I want to have our old relationship back. I know we're in an awkward place right now and I want to be the one to break it" I held her hands in between mine "So please, maybe this collaboration was meant for us to fix things" she looked at me with hopeful but scared eyes

Y/N: "Heeseung I-" she sighed and looked down "alright but, some things changed ok? Some thing I can't tell you but I'm willing to try and fix us again" I smiled brightly. I wanted to hug her but I didn't know if it was ok

Heeseung: "then can we start of with a hug?" She chuckled

Y/N: "sure but not to tight ok" I nodded and opened my arms and she went right in and snaked her arms around my torso. My arms went over her shoulder and one hand behind her head. I closed my eyes and sighed.

Heeseung: "I missed this" she laughed and pulled away

Y/N: "let's start practicing" I nodded and she let go and went towards the iPad "so let's divide the parts then let's run through it once and see how we are? Is that ok with you?" I smiled looking at her. I really really did miss her "Heeseung" she called out to me which made me focus on her again

Heeseung: "oh sorry what?"

Y/N's POV

Y/N: "Heeseung"

Heeseung: "oh sorry what?" I sighed while smiling and chuckled. I walked up to him and hugged the iPad on top of my chest

Y/N: "I said, we'll divide the parts after doing a run through first" I said in a joking tone.

Heeseung: "oops hehe sorry" I chuckled and patted his shoulder. We're starting to become comfortable with each other... that's the first step

Sunghoon's POV

I passed by the practice room of Heeseung and y/n since I wanted to make sure they weren't fighting. I peeked through the glass and saw y/n laughing? She approached him and patted his shoulder and they both chuckled. That was... that was fast.

I raised an eyebrow and walked away. I'm feeling weird like, I don't like them getting along but at the same time I'm glad they're becoming comfortable again. Don't tell me I'm jealous? Ughhhh

Heeseung's POV

Y/N: "wow! You've gotten better at singing since the last time I saw you" she said at the end of our practice

Heeseung: "I rarely hear you sing so of course I was even more impressed" I chuckled and we packed our stuff ready to leave "so I guess, I'll see you tomorrow?" she smiled and nodded.

Y/N: "well I'll uhh I'll go ahead ok" she was about to exit but I stopped her

Heeseung: "wait have you had dinner? We can grab something in the cafe?"

Y/N: "it's ok, I have plans with Sunghoon for dinner. Maybe next time ok?" Sunghoon again? I sighed disappointed

Heeseung: "then can- can we h-hug?" She raised an eyebrow at me. Why did I have to stutter

Y/N: " *chuckle* sure" she opened her arms and I snaked my arms around her waist and lifted her up a bit "ooh!" She squealed a bit making me put her down

Heeseung: "sorry that was too tight"

Y/N: "it's fine, see you tomorrow Hee" she waved goodbye and exited the practice room. It's working, we're getting closer, we're becoming like how we were before. Baby steps... baby steps...

Y/N's POV

I entered the company cafe and looked for Sunghoon. There were other artists here too. I mean we all go here after a long day.

Jeonghan: "ahhh y/n! I didn't know you'd be here" I look to my left and see Jeonghan from Seventeen. I immediately greeted him with a bow for respect

Y/N: "ahh yes hahaha, I actually had plans with Sunghoon"

Jeonghan: "ahh Sunghoonshiee yes I saw him over there by the window" he pointed behind him and I saw Sunghoon on his phone sipping his coffee while leaning back on his chair and his leg stretched out. Wow he looks comfy

Y/N: "thank you" I bowed again and he patted my head

Jeonghan: "fighting y/n! See you!" He went ahead and I made my way towards Sunghoon. As I approached him he turned to me with a sigh

Sunghoon: "took you long enough" I glared at him

Y/N: "practice took a while"

Sunghoon: "yeah I saw you guys laughing together and having fun" he said in a sarcastic tone. I raised an eyebrow and smirked.

Y/N: "why'd you say it like that?"

Sunghoon: "nothing you guys looked like you had fun" he said it in that tone again. Is he jealous? I laughed a bit and he looked at me confused "why are you laughing"

Y/N: "is someone jealous?" I teased

Sunghoon: "you know it's weird that I'm jealous right?"

Y/N: "yeah but you still are" he rolled his eyes and crossed his arms together

Sunghoon: "yeah yeah yeah whatever" I chuckled

Y/N: "how about I upload a selfie of us on my Instagram? Would that make you feel better" I said the last part in a baby tone

Sunghoon: "yes it would but I don't like it when you say it like that!" I laughed again and brought out my phone.

Y/N: "ok now smile" we smiled at the camera and took the picture. I placed 'Sunghoon and I are having a great dinner! How are (fandom name) spending their night?' As a caption" (that's how idols communicate with their fans right? HAHAHA) "there happy?" I showed him my phone before pressing the upload botton

Sunghoon: "yeah yeah" he rolled his eyes but he was smiling. I scoffed and was about to upload it until he stopped me "wait you think that's fine? What if the fans cause a commotion"

Y/N: "Pdnim said if it gets out of hand we can confirm it anyway. He said it was fine chill" I pressed the bottom and people started liking commenting and sharing right away. I'll go check out the response later

Sunghoon: "fine fine"
