Part 10 || debut

Y/N's POV

I jabbed the needle into my arm as I made a hissed sound from the pain. I injected the liquid quickly and removed it from my arm. As I dropped it to the ground my eyes started closing and I felt dizzy. My eyes felt watery again and I just couldn't control my body so I just let go of everything and fell back. Instead of hitting something hard which I expected I felt 2 arms under my shoulders. I look up to see Sunghoon. I wanted to say thank you but a lot has happened and I didn't have the energy to do so anymore.

Jake's POV

I wanted to go check up on Heeseung but I couldn't find him. Since I was getting tired I didn't bother and just decided to approach him later. I thought of seeing y/n then, to ask her what happened as well. I was gonna knock on her door but it was already slightly opened. I peeked in and I saw y/n on the floor with her eyes close and Sunghoon holding her from the back. There was also a syringe on the side which alarmed me a bit.

Jake: "y/n?!" Sunghoon looked shocked to see me and I bent down on my knees looking at y/n's state. "What happened to her!" She looked unconscious and she was sweating a bit. I started getting nervous and looked at Sunghoon not knowing what to do

Sunghoon: "just help me lift her" when we were about to bring her to her bed she started coughing and sitting up.

Y/N: "S-Sunghoon?" She looked up at him and that's when she noticed me "Jake?" She sat up fully consious and we let her go letting her hug her knees and leaning on the edge of the couch. We Indian sat on the floor waiting for her to talk

Jake: "what happened? What was that?" I pointed to the syringe "what happened to you?" Y/n sighed

Sunghoon: "Jake I don't think-"

Y/N: "no it's ok Sunghoon" she rubbed his arm telling him it was ok "I'll explain everything that happened. I can trust you right?"

Jake: "of course! I won't tell anyone if you won't allow me to" she warmly smiled and started talking. She explained every single detail from her relationship with Sunghoon to now "woahhh does Heeseung hyung know about you and Sunghoon?"

Sunghoon: "he doesn't that's what makes it hard... he's gonna be upset when he finds out" I nodded understanding where they're coming from. Y/n looked up at Sunghoon worried and he pulled her in by her shoulder and gave her a comforting side hug

Jake: "thank you for trusting me enough to tell me and y/n, I'm sorry you had to go through that all alone"

Y/N: "it's ok..."

Jake: "so why did you choose Sunghoon instead of Heeseung?"

Y/N: "I wanted to choose Heeseung but I was afraid about how he felt towards me so I thought to just keep it safe and choose Sunghoon" I nodded again.

<time skip>

Y/N's POV

Sunghoon and I have been practicing together for about 2 and a half weeks. My debut day is tomorrow so we're really practicing hard on our last day

Coach: "ok good job guys, I think we're ready for tomorrow" he patted both our shoulders and exited the room. Sunghoon and I both didn't say a word to each other and just dropped to the floor lying down

Sunghoon: "I'm soooooooo tired" he groaned unable to move. I turn my head towards him and chuckled. From the corner of my eye I could have sworn I saw Heeseung peeking from the door. I sat up straight but he vanished. I sighed and laid back down "what's wrong?" I didn't answer but just stared at the ceiling "is this about Heeseung again?"

Sunghoon's POV

Once I asked that question she teared up not facing me. She bit her lip letting her tears fall to the side. She covered her face with her hands and cried silently

Sunghoon: "y/n please don't cry, you're debuting tomorrow you don't wanna get puffy eyes"

Y/N: "sorry, it's just so different when he keeps ignoring you" I clicked my tongue and started getting angrier at Heeseung

Sunghoon: "don't worry y/n you have me" I gave her a hug and she cried on my shoulder

Y/N: "thanks Sunghoon, love you"

Sunghoon: "love you too, now go take a shower and let's get ready for tomorrow" she nodded slowly standing up. I sighed looking around. I hope we can fix all this...

<time skip: performance day>

A/N's POV

Y/n and Sunghoon's performance was just released a few minutes ago. Likes and comments came right away, showing how excited all of them are. Everyone loved their performance and y/n started growing more fans each second. Y/n together with Enhypen and Pdnim were all watching the comments on her video flood in

Pdnim: "good job y/n" he congratulated only you since your main track only had you. Your collab with Sunghoon was a side track

Jay: "look! So many people keep saying you're so pretty and that you're so talented!" This made you happy but Heeseung felt annoyed. He didn't like others commenting on your beauty especially boys. He just rested his head on his arms that were folded on top of the table watching all of you. Deep inside though, he thought you really did amazing and he wanted to congratulate you for that

Sunoo: "let's go check out the comments on your performance with Sunghoon!" They exited the video and searched for the performance video of Sunghoon and y/n. They checked the comments and everyone fangirled/boyed over them.

Jake: "woahhh! There's a lot of people shipping you guys!"

Niki: "yeah you guys' nickname is n/n" everyone chuckled at the combination of their names. Sunghoon and y/n thought it was funny but Heeseung got even more annoyed. He glared at Sunghoon and then transferred his gaze to y/n who was laughing the whole time. She's not bothered by this? His face fell at the thought. He wondered if y/n had started liking Sunghoon ever since he ignored her.

Jungwon: "yo all these comments are shipping you guys" he kept scrolling down and every single comment mentioned how cute you two were

Jake: "that's pretty funny" They all agreed and chuckled even pdnim. I mean they didn't have a dating ban and if the fans weren't throwing damaging hate towards the idols Pdnim was ok with it

Heeseung: "it's not that funny you know"
